“...### answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The ### you see today you will never see again...” (Exodus 14:13, NIV) The Chain Has Been Broken The Israelites had been bound in slavery in Egypt for over four hundred years. All they had seen was injustice, being taken advantage of, mistreated, barely making it. God supernaturally brought them out of Egypt, and they were headed to the Promised Land when He said to them, “The enemies you see today, you will see no more.” That’s what happens when the chain breaker shows up. True freedom. He was saying to them and to us, “Those things that have held you back for years, you’re not going to see them anymore.” This...
It takes a lot of courage to push through hard times, like this pandemic that has caused so many deaths and continues to take lives. People lost their jobs and some are sick already. Jesus wants to heal you. He wants to help you and bless your life. Keep showing up at church and be a greeter in the house of the Lord. Keep loving everyone and smile just as Jesus would. Keep giving, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and widows. Keep being kind and considerate just as Jesus would. Keep caring for others. Pray for your pastor and for those who work hard in your church. Pray for missionaries who are sharing the Lord overseas. Lost souls of the world need us. Be a light in a dark world. Be salt...
There is a marked difference between speaking on behalf of THE FATHER, and speaking on behalf of the father of lies. Ezekiel 3:27 "But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people." When God opens his messengers' mouth to sound the alarm, He already knows that not every one will be receptive. Yet, whether in prophecy or sermon, the message of righteousness is one of redemption through repentance, which usually involves warning the hearers thereof about their sins and transgressions. But, because of arrogance, man often mistakes God’s offer of redemption, as...
The world, the flesh and the devil will try to divert our attention towards material possessions. Do not let the devil come to you and lead you stray and far away from the Lord. Debate about our wonderful promise Jesus has given to us. A mansion in heaven prepared for you and for me. This world is not our home. We are just passing through. Our real home is in heaven.
L O V E What is Love (capital 'L') This topic has many verses to draw from. Too many to list in one blog. Please feel free to share verses and your understanding on Love. KEY VERSE 1 Corinthians 13:2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. This verse brings the importance of Love into clarity without ambiguity into our Christian lives. There is nothing on earth more important than Love, yes nothing! We must understand it. Without it we cannot engage in a proper relationship with God, nor can we fully understand the nature of Love. 1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love...
What a wonderful name. What wonderful experience. Jesus sees every single pain we are going through. He knows your need and He sees the tears of your eyes. In our heart we know the Truth. We know that God sees our every single deed and knows the desire of our heart. Come to Him just as you are and ask forgiveness. He will forgive, help and heal your troubled soul. He loves you and cares for you. O the deep, deep love of Jesus. Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free. Rolling as mighty ocean, In its fullness over me. Underneath me, All around me. Is the current of Thy love. Leading onward, Leading homeward, To Thy glorious rest above. What a wonderful song. It really blessed my soul. True words that pierce our hearts.
https://www.christianpost.com/voices/7-steps-to-creating-intimacy-with-god.html Here are seven steps to creating intimacy with God: 1. Make a commitment to have a Quiet Time every day Determine the value of intimacy with God has in your life. View it equally as important as food for your body or the oxygen you need to breathe. 2. Prioritize your Quiet Time This really has to be your first and most important activity of your day. It’s likely that every day you have to decide which things you’re going to do that have the highest priority. If you make a list of things to do, put this as number one. 3. Choose a place and schedule a time daily to have your Quiet Time For most people, first thing in the morning seems to work...
“...The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!...” (Psalm 56:9,) A Miracle Put in Motion You have things you’re believing for—perhaps a dream to come to pass, your health to turn around, or to meet the right person. You’ve been praying for a long time, but you don’t see anything happening. It seems like God is on vacation and as though your prayers aren’t doing any good. But what you can’t see is that God is at work behind the scenes. Don’t believe the lies that say your praying, believing, and standing in faith is a waste of time. He not only heard your prayer, but He put the miracle in motion. In today’s Scripture, the psalmist says it happens the very day you...
