Seize His Love! Love is an act of faith to honorably and intentionally pursue the individual's well-being, edification, and spiritual prosperity without any prejudices. This applies to family, neighbours, enemies, and yourself. Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Love is not kick-started by money or any form of recompense; it is an act of faith that originates and operates in the unseen. However, Love's spiritual substance does reverberate and affect the physical world. How many times do we hear of an incident of a community that was deeply moved by a kind-hearted gesture of a samaritan? This good samaritan's inward act of Love reached out into the physical realm and touched the...
It was a beautiful thought Jesus brought to me this morning. He woke me up in the middle of the night and said, "I love you with an everlasting love." Then this song was sung in my soul.... Jesus, what a wonder You are. You are so gentle, so pure and so kind. You shine like a morning star. Jesus, what a wonder You are. Let us all live a life that please the Lord. He really love us, care for us and He is waiting for us at the gates of heaven to welcome us in.
```markdown Texas' recent inclement weather brought to remembrance a couple of conversations I had a few years ago. Presuming it his place to condemn me, a fellow Christian (as he defined himself), whom I had never met, accosted me on a train citing Psalm 50:20 You sit and testify against your brother and slander your own mother’s son. Instead of arguing my case before the stranger, I simply asked: "Were you there?" As he continued to challenge me regarding MY TESTIMONY, I proposed the following question: "So you mean to tell me that the God who forgives your sins, washes you white as snow, and perhaps even favors you, despite your guilt, can't rescue me from my tormentors (including those He initially set against me), vindicate me in...
Is it possible that some teaching may be distracting us from the Great Commission? Matthew 24:36 (also Mark 13:32) But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. So why do we go on year after year focus on the timing of something that no one can possibly know? Some Christians are more prone to share their beliefs on the intricacies of these future events rather than share the Great Commission itself. In some circles it has become a great distraction. After the Lord's resurrection He met with His disciples. Acts 1:6-7 6. Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7. He said to them, It is not for...
So, I was reading Pastor ###'s February 2021 letter to GTY (Grace to You) subscribers and found the words so true and comforting I wanted to share an excerpt in hopes it does the same for you. I also encourage you to check out GTY online. I receive their daily devotions by email, Strength for Today and Drawing Near, and more often than not they are full of wisdom and good counsel, and a great way to start the day, or finish the day...or just get through the day. :) And like the amazing resources on this website, they are FREE! How often are we out there in this world, striving to find that thing that will satisfy, that will make us "happy" and God's Word is sitting on the shelf or in cyberspace, waiting, getting dusty, waiting ... and...
What a beautiful sight to behold. What a wonderful experience to have in life. The disciples had that chance, to see Jesus being changed into a glorious presence full of glory speaking along with Moses and Elijah. And a voice from the cloud said. This is my Son whom I love, with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him. God speaking from heaven. When the disciples heard this, they fell face down to the ground, terrified. Then, Jesus came and touched them and said. Get up. Do not be afraid. Matt. 17.5,6 The touch of the Master and Lord of all takes away all fear, all worry, all kinds of troubles in our heart. There is not a sight more beautiful than to see Jesus in His glorious state. A heavenly vision that no one forgets so easily...
Our minds have no capacity to understand the mercy and compassion of our Lord. You know us so well. You know us better than we know ourselves. And when we forget about You. You never forget us. Every day we are amazed and overwhelmed. He loves us and cares for us. That is one reason we should lift our voice to God Almighty. Miracle after miracle... I can't count the times You undergirded me. You loosed the chains and removed the shame. You kept my mind from hurting. Lord, I thank You. From the bottom of my heart, I shall forever praise, honor and glorify Thy name. Your mercy reaches to everyone who seeks Thy face. The lonely, the forsaken and those who have no home. Come to Me...says the Lord. I will give you rest...
Jesus will bless our life. He will be so pleased to see that we are doing what He told us to do. Be all means, save some, those lost souls we see around, need the Lord. Do all the good you can, by all means you can, in all the ways you are able and in all places you go. Jesus will lead the way. He is always with us wherever we are.
Let Love roll! Forgive everyone! Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. ESV COMMENT It is inevitable, we will be disappointed by each other's imperfections. But it is forgiveness that allows the crusade of His Love to carry on. Love God and then love your neighbors as you love yourself. Forgive all who trespassed against you and the Heavenly Father will forgive you. Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses ESV An unforgiven heart is an unforgiven soul. Forgiveness is one giant step for Love.
