Understanding what comes first; wants or righteousness? Matthews 6:33 (examining 3 versions) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. New International Versionp Instead, make your top priority God’s kingdom and his way of life, and all these things will be given to you as well. New Testament for Everyone Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. New Living Translation * Seek God first over everything. * Live through His righteousness, * Then and only then, * The Father will give you what you need. God knows what you need but it may be not necessarily what you wanted. God is your Anchor, your thoughts and your...
This one right here is the ultimate flipping of the proverbial script. You see they thought that crucifixion would put an end all that "way, truth, and life" nonsense. BUT GOD proved His strategy. Just when the devil thinks he has achieved his goal of destruction in the lives of God's people, God says "NO! you've only served to achieve My goal of redemption and promotion;" for Jesus now sits at the right hand of the Father, on our behalf. John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Another shout worthy text. I am so tempted to say "psych!" but someone will surely accuse me of being disrespectful. No disrespect intended; I simply revel in fact that you can't kill TRUTH. . Have a Lifted day y'all! ♥️
Meditate Upon These Scriptures—Let God Minister To Your Heart Romans 8:26-30 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He...
Jesus love is deeper than the ocean. Higher than the farthest star in the universe. Come to Him. He is waiting and calling you and me. Come home, come home my child. I am waiting for you. My Lord, I am sorry for my sins. They are many. I am giving myself to You. I am choosing to follow You. Your Blood cleanseth us from all sin. No one else can do this for us. I firmly intend to follow You. All the way to heaven. I can hear Your voice today. Come home My dear children. I am waiting and waiting for you. Jesus is calling all of us.
O Almighty and Merciful God, I truly thank Thee for the forgiveness of my sins. Help me, O Lord by Thy Grace, to confirm me in my purpose and decision that I may never return unto sin. O Physician and Healer of my soul, shine in my heart with the True Sun of Thy righteousness; enlighten my mind, and guard all my senses. Keep me under Thy protection, and in the shadow of Thy wings that I may serve Thee, praise Thee, and glorify Thee all the days of my life that I may attain the eternal. Amen ### is The "Way Truth Life"🙏 www.yeshuva.com
God sent us to earth to be here for a little while, a stopping place to be a blessings to those we live, work, and see in the streets around us. That is what life is. We are here right now, and then, we will not be here anymore. Like the clouds in the sky. We see them moving around us, then it will disappear forever. This is a pause in life. A resting place along the road. It eventually it will lead us all to heaven. Each one of us have different journeys. God has given us something to choose. Whom to follow and obey. We were meant to learn something important. Life is short, Eternity is long. Seek wisdom from above. Ask Jesus what life means to you. Because life journey shall come to an end. What have we done...
Good morning people of God! Many Christians claim to have a favorite scripture; I am certainly no different. Anyone who has ever spoken to me about it or read anything that I've ever written regarding the subject knows that my absolute favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 2:9. To be certain the whole of 1 Corinthians 2 speaks volumes to me. But because the Bible is so very rich with wisdom, knowledge and literary beauty, it can be difficult to show absolute favoritism to only one scripture. Please bear with me over the next few entries as I take liberty in sharing a few of my favorites. This is one of those with which I have be very careful: I mean a Holy dance can break out anytime I hear, read, or recite it: Psalms 20:7 Some...
Nothing we will carry to eternity. So, we must seek those things that are above where the Lord is waiting for you and for me. If we just minimize our wants and desires, Jesus will bless our life. Seek those things that are above. Not the things of the earth. I shall do so in the name of the Lord. Amen
A young man, thinking himself to be perhaps philosophical, actually said to me recently, "Have you no shame?" And while I didn’t answer him directly, I did consider the question introspectively. Ashamed for what? I haven't lied on anyone, falsified anyone's drug test, bribed anyone to torment and cast the homeless out of a shelter. I haven't subverted justice to anyone, certainly not to the least among us. Therefore, ashamed for what? Being homeless? Hmmmm. It's never about the vessel personally, but rather that which the vessel represents, which in my assignment just so happens to be "The Least of These." Matthew 25:45 "He will reply, ’Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for...
If we want a deeper relationship with the Lord, then ask to fill your empty soul with His holy presence. Let us all feast on Him alone and those things the world, the flesh and the devil offers us will not come to us. Fill our cup o Lord. I lift it up Lord. Come and fill this quench of my soul. Bread of heaven, feed me till I want no more. Fill my cup Lord and make me whole. Yes Jesus, please, fill our hearts with joy, peace and happiness. We love You with all our heart right now and forever more. Amen
