Let not our pride receive us from knowing the truth! For it's one of them, the deadliest sin that will leave us behind. Let us release ourselves from this worldly life, let us humble ourselves before God with a spirit of submission, and admit when we are wrong, so we can position our hearts to be open to His word. Take the focus off ourselves and focusing on what really matters-God!…... James 4:10 humble yourself before the Lord, and he will lift you up, Amen.... A few words from Juliana Lane.com.... one would think it's hard, but once you put things in perspective to be honest, truthful staying focused, you realize it's not that difficult. Life is really simple and beautiful when we decide to love our Lord. Amen.
Think About This…
Here is something to ponder as you close your eyes at the end of this day and prepare to open them to a new day tomorrow. Consider the marvelous privilege that is yours for the taking tomorrow morning. Think of it: The Lord Jesus Christ is willing to meet with you privately for as long as you want, and He is willing–even eager–to meet with you every day! Suppose you had been one of the thousands who followed Jesus around for much of the last three years of His earthly life. Can you imagine how excited you would have been if one of His disciples said, “The Master wants us to tell you that He is willing to get alone with you whenever you’re willing, and for as much time as you want to spend, and He’ll be expecting you most every day”...
What a beautiful words to hear coming from heaven above. God's voice thunders all over the universe and let us know that Jesus is a beloved Son who came to the world to save sinners from burning in hell's fire. I really wish that Jesus would hold my heart and cuddle gently in His hands. Our arms are not strong enough, we must rely on the strong arms of God. To hold what I do not understand, to see what others cannot and to hear those wonderful words coming from heaven above. The most beautiful things on earth cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt by the heart and embraced with the soul because it is coming from the holy presence of God who wants us all to be holy and pure in His eyes. The beauty of the Lord shines all over...
Lord Fill My Cup
John 4:13-15: Jesus answered and said to her, “…but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.” Prayer Focus: God I ask You in Jesus' name bless me to be a light, an encourager, and compass to help Your children find their way back home to You. God so many of Your children are slipping back into the world or have backslidden and they don't even realize it. Help me help them. I can't pour from an empty cup or give what I don't have. Fill my cup, O Lord. Pour into me so that I can pour into those You send me...
Heavenly Father, in your wisdom you have called certain women and men to a life of special consecration so that in prayerful obedience of a lifestyle of poverty, chaste celibacy and obedience, they might be witnesses to us that as St Paul says, "their true citizenship is in heaven. Give them, Lord, the grace of joy and perseverance in their holy vocation we ask this through Christ, our Lord..... From: ###
The same was accused of ### The Baptist and Jesus. ###, what with his relentless screaming from the wilderness about REPENTANCE: And then there was Jesus shouting and overturning tables in the temple. Lack of self-control, as many, including myself, are accused who sound the trumpet according to God’s instructions of Isaiah 58:1, is not defined as one who lifts their voice and shouts loudly in public places, telling others about their sins - That's actually the correct way to honor God. The text below outlines for us the lack of self-control that dishonors God, with the very first being adultery/sexual immorality; but nobody wants to hear that. [Ezekiel 2:3-8] Galatians 5:18-21 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under...
The act of being resilient is a call to action to sustain one's will to overcome any challenges before him/her. It keeps coming back at the proverbial mountain until it's conquered. This call to action is formidable when deeply rooted in Christ. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13 -14 - As Christians we are to be relentless in Christ. Unshakable by what we see around us but ready to move with the Holy Spirit to subdue what's before us. It's our call to duty. It may be tough, disconcerting, and beyond our comfort zone. But we...
The most precious time we spend in life when we are so alone, so forsaken, so disturbed, it is to take a time to praise the name of the Lord Jesus. Wherever you are, stop what you are doing and just start singing praises to Him. For sure, our dear Lord delights in the praises of His people. Jesus, I love You, I praise you, I adore You. Glorify Thy name in all the earth. Glorify Thy name in all the earth. Let us all memorize this wonderful verse. It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to Your name o most High. To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness every night. Psalm 92,1,2
