Prophecy is God's gracious warning of pending harm and/or disaster. Therefore, when well received, prophesy renders much fruit. Howbeit, when prophecy is rejected, not only is the fruit of lives spared rejected, but also rejected is the fruit of reward which accompanies it. Moreover, you defile your own offering when you grieve the Holy Spirit with injustice and attempts to control or exploit Him.

To despise the prophsyings is to grieve God's spirit of grace. And, because God's grace is dispensed by the Holy Spirit, to continually reject it is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the moment this city turned her...
