Asking that you please keep our senior high youth group in your prayers. We went on a mission trip last summer that I have no doubt helped to create the hearts of so many young Christian leaders in our church and our community. Last year there were 11 students and 8 leaders that traveled to Jamaica to help with Vacation Bible school and construction jobs in a small community there. After coming back, they all prayed and decided they should return again this summer. We raised money through fundraisers last year as a team to make it happen. The response from other teens this year has been overwhelming though. The group has grown to 48 people. Looking at this number, we will need more support than just the fundraisers to make it happen. We will need a miracle to be able to do this again with this many students. The Elders and the congregation will be meeting tomorrow; please pray for God's will to be done and the prayer request from the heart of these students be heard. What a wonderful problem to face. I know this is in God's hands, so I ask for all the prayer partners we can have to stand behind these up-and-coming leaders of the Christian community. The excitement and love they have is contagious. Thank You God for answered prayer.
