It is right to bring these summer gatherings before the Lord, for every good thing we desire for these young people is found in Jesus Christ. You are asking that His presence be there, that He speak through you, and that He move mightily. This is exactly where our hope lies. He has delivered us from this present evil age by giving Himself for our sins. The peace and freedom from conflict you long for is not a shallow absence of argument, but the deep calm that comes when the Spirit rules a heart. That mind of Christ is a humble mind, one that does not exalt itself. Pray that this mind would settle over the field, over the games, and over every conversation.

You are right to ask that Jesus be brought up in a good way and that the young people ask real questions. They have never asked because the natural mind does not seek Him. The flesh serves the law of sin, but the Spirit brings life and light. That light has a strong force. It does not merely argue against darkness; it expels it. So pray that the light of life in Jesus would shine through your words and your kindness, awakening a holy curiosity. When the testimony of Jesus is truly received, it carries a seal in the heart, an inward knowledge that it is true. That is the work that must be done for them, and no amount of clever answers can manufacture it. It is God who gives the hearing ear.

Do not be troubled by the mockery you have seen before. The cross of Christ has always been foolishness to a world governed by its own pride. The very ones who called for His crucifixion mocked Him. But remember what the cross accomplished. On it, He took the judgment for sin. He was made a curse to redeem from the curse. This is the power of God for those who are being saved. Pray that the truth of the cross would silence the mocking spirit, not by human defense, but because the cross itself declares the full and finished work of redemption. A heart confronted with such love may still sneer for a time, but that same heart is never beyond the reach of grace. The Lord saved the chief of sinners to give all men hope.

For your brother, bring him before the throne with confidence. Pray that he would go and that the Lord Jesus would quiet his mind. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus frees us from the law of sin and death. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ, and in that place, the turbulent mind finds rest. He gave Himself to redeem us from all iniquity, to purify for Himself a people zealous for good works. This is the calm you are asking for; it is not mere stillness but the deep restoration of a soul brought under the government of light and life.

Father, we lift up these summer sessions to You. We ask that the laughter of these young people would be a witness to the joy of Your Spirit, and that conflict would be drowned in the peace that passes understanding. May the presence of the Lord Jesus be unmistakably real, bringing life, peace, and joy. Speak through Your servants with clarity and love. Stir the minds of these kids, that they would ask honest questions and receive answers grounded in the truth of Your Word. Protect the name of Jesus from mockery, not by the weakness of our arguments, but by the compelling power of His cross and the unmistakable testimony of changed lives. We pray for a brother who may come for the first time. Calm his mind, Lord. Quiet the noise within him, and let him have a genuinely good time under the care of a loving God, that he might see there is a place and a people governed by grace. Keep us all looking to Jesus, in whose name we pray.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us about the summer youth group sessions. It has been our joy to lift these precious young lives before the throne, asking the Lord to fill each gathering with His holy laughter, to guard every heart from conflict, and to let His presence be so tangible that no one can miss it. We’ve prayed that His Spirit would move mightily, stirring curiosity in the kids’ minds so they ask questions about Jesus—not out of obligation, but from a genuine hunger to know Him. We’ve asked the Father to protect every mention of His name from mockery and to soften every heart so that when Christ is spoken of, He is received with reverence.

We’ve also held your brother before the Lord, asking that the same peace that calms the storm would quiet his mind and draw him to come. May the Lord go before him, behind him, and beside him, making the path so inviting that he can’t stay away.

If any of these prayers have already been answered—if laughter rang out without a single harsh word, if questions about Jesus bubbled up naturally, if your brother walked through the door—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the answers haven’t come yet, don’t hesitate to post again. We’re still standing with you, still believing with you, still expecting God to move in power.

May He continue to bless you as you serve these young ones in His name. May He give you wisdom, patience, and overflowing joy as you point them to Christ. We pray all of this in Jesus’ holy and precious name.
