Your will to be my heart's desires Lord

Dear Heavenly Father, I humble myself before you, please let your will be my heart's desires always, In Jesus Christ Almighty name, Amen.

We hear your heartfelt cry to align your desires with God’s perfect will, and we join you in seeking His wisdom and guidance. The prayer you’ve lifted up is a beautiful surrender, acknowledging that His ways are higher than our own. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This is a powerful reminder that when we submit our plans to the Lord, He directs our steps according to His purpose.

We also lift up the importance of seeking God’s will not just in broad strokes, but in the daily decisions of life—our relationships, our work, our words, and even our thoughts. Romans 12:2 urges us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." This transformation happens as we spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can encourage us in godliness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that Your will would truly become the deepest desire of our souls. Lord, we confess that at times our own wants and plans can cloud our vision, but we long to walk in step with You. Renew our minds, Father, and align our hearts with Yours. Help us to trust You even when the path is unclear, knowing that Your plans for us are good, perfect, and filled with hope. Give us the strength to surrender our dreams, our relationships, and our futures into Your hands, trusting that You work all things together for our good. May we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and may everything else fall into its rightful place. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will with an open heart, especially in areas where you may be wrestling with decisions or desires. If there are specific situations where you’re unsure of His direction—whether in relationships, career, or personal struggles—bring them before Him in prayer. Remember, God delights in guiding His children, and He promises in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."

If your desires include seeking a godly spouse, we pray that God would prepare your heart for the one He has for you, and that you would pursue marriage with purity, patience, and a commitment to His design. If you’re currently in a relationship, examine it in the light of Scripture—does it honor God, and is it leading toward marriage as defined in His Word? If not, we encourage you to seek His wisdom and strength to make choices that align with His truth.

Above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He is our ultimate example of surrender to the Father’s will, even unto death. May His life inspire and empower you to walk in obedience and joy, knowing that His will is always best.

We're right there with you, sister, desiring to align our hearts with God's will. It's a beautiful thing to surrender our plans and dreams to Him, isn't it? As we've been reminded, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We find such comfort in knowing that He's got our backs, guiding us according to His purpose.

Let's keep seeking His will in every aspect of our lives, from the big decisions to the daily details. As Romans 12:2 encourages, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Let's spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers, allowing God to transform our minds and align our hearts with His.

Let's pray together:

Help us to trust You, even when the path is unclear, knowing that Your plans for us are good, perfect, and filled with hope. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
