Mark 9:22 And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.â€

Acts 20:35 (Show me Acts 20) In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’†<< I love the Lord and I love prayer. I've prayed, so are many others. I sincerely need help. What kind of world is this when Christians only offer prayer and no help? I'm not being bitter. I'm simply trying to understand. I pray for someone to please help me and for the understanding of why Christians are not helping each other. Please, Lord...

Faith...Prayer...Works..= Success in Christ....

Be Encouraged, I have asked God in Jesus’ name to honor your prayer request according to His perfect will. The safest and best place to be in this whole wide world is in the will of God. God’s will for all His children is for them to prosper, be in good health, even as their soul prospers (III John 2). God knows what is best for all of us. He knows when to step in and when to step back. Ask God, “What am I to learn from this experience?†And then ask God not to let you waste this experience. Relax…Keep Your Focus On God…Grow From It!

May Jehovah our God through His Son Jesus Christ bless you and those you love and care about abundantly, exceedingly above all you have ever asked, thought, dreamed, or prayed. God is in control. Trust Him. God Loves You. Everything is going to be alright!

Hi Jonathan, this is a deep question. I am sorry to hear that you are not being helped. I'm not sure I have the answer for you, but I will share some scriptures, thoughts, and observations, ask some clarifying questions, and pray for you. By your description it sounds like you're in need of financial help. James wrote that if we see a brother in need and "bless" them with our words but do nothing to help them, our religion is worthless. So I guess the question is, are you in fellowship with a local church? Are they aware of your need? I believe God's primary plan for our help is the local body of believers that we are connected with. If you are connected, and they are aware, then scripturally we should be helping each other. My observation is that sometimes churches do not have much left over after paying for the mortgage and salaries. This observation comes from a history of serving in children's ministry and missions.

I don't know your situation, and I am not accusing, criticizing, or assuming anything. Just trying to answer your question, ok? Are you doing what you can do to help yourself? The scripture says that if a man won't work (assuming they are able), neither let him eat. Are you able to work? Are you willing to work? Are you actively looking for work? Are you serving where you can? When you pray, what are you believing for? The bible says "pray believing". What do you believe God is going to do? Do you believe that he will provide?

I have struggles with the same issue, but in the sense that we are missionaries, ready to go, but with no provision to go. I believe the church (at large) should be sending missionaries, as many as are willing and equipped to go. We are in a season where seasoned, fruitful missionaries are spending great amounts of time stateside trying to raise the monthly support to stay in the field that God called them to. They are "making tents", as Paul did, to make ends meet. Many in the church (as in America) are struggling to make basic ends meet. I believe God is calling us to a season of unprecedented faith, where we absolutely depend on him for supernatural provision when the natural provision fails -- including the church and the economy. There is the temptation to be bitter, as you said, but the Lord is calling us to a more radical faith response.

So my prayer for you, Jonathan, is that God will meet all of your needs according to his great riches in Christ Jesus. I pray that your faith will stand firm, that you will believe God's promise in your situation. I pray that you will have the wisdom and strength to do all that you can to align with God's answer for you. I pray that those you are in fellowship with, and are aware of your need, will discern what the Lord wants them to do to help you, and that they will promptly do it.

Luke 6:32“If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Jonathan, this website is called prayerrequest.com...lol. If you believe in the power of prayer, and have faith that God answers prayer, and want others to pray in faith for your need -- this seems like a great forum for that. I encourage you to ask for specific prayer for your immediate need, and stand in faith. Praying without faith is like bathing without water.

It sounds like you have some serious issues hindering work. I encourage you to believe for your healing, and for work. As far as I can tell from scripture and observation, God does not respond to need or self-pity -- there are 6 million homeless (many who are orphans) in Kolkata alone who don't know where their next scrap of food is coming from. He responds to faith. Though a perfect stranger could mail you money to meet your need, I don't have faith for that specific answer to your prayer. Do you?

Do you live in the US?

I know that you did not ask for prayer for your families’ salvation. God wants all of your family to be saved…

Please Pray This Prayer….God I ask in Jesus’ name save my whole entire family Lord Jesus. The ones I know and the ones I don't know. Bless us all (my entire family) to come to know You, love You and walk in obedience to Your Holy Word. May we all do the will of Jehovah our God as Jesus did. Bless Us, Protect Us, Deliver us all from evil. Bless each of us to prosper, be in excellent health as our souls prospers in You. God please do this for my family and for the writer of this prayer; because heaven would not be the same without them there.

Deep vein thrombosis (d.v.t.) Bloodclots. And yes I live in America. And no, I dont have much faith in man helping me. Only to pray for me. Im starving today in the wealthiest land on Earth. Gods giving many ppl the opportunity to help n redeem themselves for the Christians they claim to be. I, as a Christian pray and ask for prayer for those who turn their backs with excuses when they couldve so easily, cheaply made a difference. I love people and I love the Lord. I do not have pity for myself. I was taught as a child that instead of breaking the law, I should simply ask for help. What I've seen goes against alot of what I was taught as an adolesent in church. All I have to my name is this cheap Android phone, yet if you go to trulyadam.blogspot.com, and read, you can see that even I am trying to make some kind of contribution to others. (with nothing) Thank you all for your prayers. God's humble servant, Jonathan Adam Wright
