Disciple of Prayer
You are NOT alone, let me help you. The loneliness, depression, and hatred against those who have hurt you has isolated you. You feel that there is no one to help you. You have been abandoned by everyone. Yet, you are not forgotten by the LORD God. I have been sent by the Holy Spirit to help you. Let me help you. I know One who came to "heal the brokenhearted," Luke 4:18a. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds," Psalm 147:3. Yes, tears are running down your face right NOW. He has come to pay you a visit. Tears also run down my face. His presence is HERE to heal that broken heart. Let me pray for YOU. Father in heaven, and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Ghost, I ask for this one, that You would come, and heal their broken heart, and bind up their wounds. Right NOW in Jesus' name. That all the loneliness, depression, and hatred against those who have hurt them just vanish away. That the everlasting love, and the kindness of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob come, and fill that place where you are, and fill you. I declare you free! If I ever you meet you, you will get one huge bear hug in Jesus' name! Love ya! In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we join with you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The loneliness, depression, and pain you describe are real, and we do not dismiss them lightly. But we also declare with certainty that you are not forgotten, God sees you, He knows your name, and He has not abandoned you. The scriptures you referenced are true: Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18), and the Lord binds up wounds and gathers the lonely into His family (Psalm 147:3, Psalm 68:6).

Yet we must also gently remind you that healing and deliverance come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, confessing your sins, believing in His death and resurrection, and receiving Him as Lord, we urge you to do so now. The Holy Spirit is drawing you, and this could be the moment of your breakthrough. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Let us pray for you with boldness and compassion:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We lift up this dear one who is hurting, lonely, and weighed down by the pain of betrayal and abandonment. Lord, You are the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of the broken (Psalm 68:5). We ask You to draw near to them right now. Let Your presence be a tangible reality, wipe away their tears, lift the heaviness of depression, and replace bitterness with Your perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).

We rebuke the spirit of isolation in Jesus’ name. You did not create us to walk alone, and we declare that this one is surrounded by Your love and the fellowship of believers. Heal their heart, Lord, and restore what has been stolen. Fill them with the hope of Your promises and the assurance that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28).

If there is unconfessed sin, whether unforgiveness, anger, or something else, we ask You to bring it to light and grant repentance. Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We also pray for godly community, friends, a local church, or mentors who will walk with them in truth and love.

And Lord, if this one does not yet know You as Savior, we ask that You would open their eyes to see Jesus as the only way to You. Soften their heart to receive Him, for "whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).

We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we declare freedom, joy, and purpose over this life. May they rise from this moment with a renewed spirit, knowing that You are their ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are not alone. The God who parted the Red Sea, raised Jesus from the dead, and knows the number of hairs on your head is fighting for you. We encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can find support and grow in faith. If you have not yet given your life to Christ, we urge you to pray this prayer from your heart:

"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my old life and invite You to be my Savior and Lord. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to follow You all the days of my life. In Your name, Amen."

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! Please reach out to us or a local Christian so we can help you take your next steps in faith. You are loved, you are valued, and your future is secure in Christ.

We are so grateful you reached out, and we do not take lightly the pain you are carrying. When loneliness and resentment have been companions for a long time, it can feel like you are trapped in a room with no door. But the fact that you are here, letting someone in, tells us something powerful: a part of you still hopes there is a way through.

That hatred you mentioned toward those who have hurt you, we understand why it's there. When someone has wounded you deeply, anger can feel like the only shield you have left. But from what we have seen, that shield eventually grows heavy. Holding onto that anger doesn't protect you from more pain; it keeps the original wound from fully closing. We are not saying this to rush you, and we are not saying the hurt wasn't real. Healing from deep wrongs is a process, and feelings of anger are a normal part of it. But if you stay there, it is often you, not them, who remains in chains. Letting go is less about saying what they did was acceptable and more about refusing to let what they did continue to define your life or steal your peace. That takes time, and you do not have to muscle through it alone.

One concrete step we would gently encourage: do not stay isolated. The enemy works best in the dark and the quiet. Is there a mature Christian you trust, or even a pastor, you could sit down with this week? Sometimes just putting words to the pain in a safe, real-life relationship takes away some of its power. You were not meant to carry this by yourself.

Lord Jesus, you see this person right where they are, exhausted from the loneliness and the hurt they have carried. We ask you to step into that deep ache and begin to untangle it. Give them the courage to take one small step toward trust and toward releasing the weight of this anger. And in the meantime, wrap them in your presence, letting them know they are not abandoned or forgotten. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Upon the soul in thy condition, a great battle rages. Thou speakest of a hatred that isolates, a fire that consumes thine inward parts against those who have wounded thee. Yet a fire is a power, and though it now burneth with a fell and wasting heat, it may be turned to a holy purpose. The Christian religion is a golden chain to fetter the hands from all hatred of persons, for the spirit of Christ is love. Thou hast no right to excrete thy hatred upon any creature, however fallen or debased. Still, hatred is a power of manhood, and all powers are to be exercised in the fear of God. Turn then this mighty river of thy soul from the barren sands of personal revenge, and direct its torrent against the evil itself. Consider what sin hath already done thee. Oh, what a world of mischief it hath brought into thy heart! Show thy hatred to evil by active efforts to put it down, and finding the darkness in thine own soul, cry out against it with a holy vehemence.

Thou speakest of being utterly alone, of feeling abandoned. Enter for a moment into the sorrow of that loneliness, for thy Savior hath trodden that solitary path before thee. He was left alone, just when most as Man He needed human sympathy. He came to heal diseases, to unstop deaf ears, and to bless widows with their sons, was that a cause for hatred? Yet they hated Him without a cause. His healing works were met with the cruel frost of man’s ingratitude. But mark this: His loneliness did not destroy Him. It pained Him, but it did not dismay Him. He saith, “Ye shall leave Me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.” And so it is with thee. Thou art not alone. The presence of the Lord hath come to pay thee a visit, not in a fleeting emotion, but in the substance of His promise.

Yet see the connection of thy text, for the healing leaves are for the nations, but healing must come before service. Thou canst not rise and serve Him whilst the fever of this inward rage and sorrow prostrates thee. Peter’s wife’s mother was lying sick of a fever; none asked her to rise and wait upon the Lord. First, He touched her, and the fever left her, and then she arose and ministered unto Him. The healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching, for faith cometh by hearing. And what is the teaching of Christ to thy wound? It is this: “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” Pardon and healing are one. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, the least thing about Christ is full of virtue. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. The work of thy heavenly Physician is to apply the remedy.

Thou hast felt a tear run down thy face, and so it is with me when I consider the broken in heart. Yet a broken heart, truly broken by the weight of its own evil and not merely by the consequences of others’ sin, is the gift of God. It is easy to get religious notions and fancy thyself safe, but a real saving work is the work of God alone. Look then away from thy grievance and thy foes, and look to Him who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. His touch upon thy hand shall lift thee up, and what shall follow? As soon as the healing came, she arose. And thy desire to minister to Him shall be the sweet evidence that the great cure is wrought. Thou shalt take thy seat at the feast whereto He hath bid thee, and in the warmth of that new life, the everlasting love and kindness of the Lord shall fill the place where the cold loneliness once dwelt.

A contrite heart, broken and humble before God, is the sacrifice He will not despise. You speak of loneliness, depression, even hatred against those who have hurt you. Yet it is precisely such a spirit, utterly broken and not rising up to strike back, that Christ calls blessed when He says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit.” This poverty means not merely lowliness, but a soul awestruck and trembling at His words. The prophet David knew this when he cried, “A broken and a contrite heart God will not despise.” That which is broken does not rise up, does not strike, is ready to be ill-treated and seeks no vengeance. This is the temper that heals.

You feel abandoned, but you are not forgotten. The Lord draws near to such a soul. Take His yoke upon you and learn from Him, for He is meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. His yoke is easy, His burden light. He does not promise a life free of storms, but He says, “See, be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass.” The tumults and temptations will not shake His promises.

The hatred you feel is a root of bitterness. Bitter roots can never bear sweet fruit. But God can transform that root through the grace of a contrite spirit. Humble yourself with all lowliness, not in words alone but in your bearing, toward all, friend and foe, great and small. When anger flares, lowliness is ruined. Yet if you accept whatever you suffer as from the Lord’s hand, you will bear it easily and reap gain even here: the calm harbor of a quiet soul.

Sing to God in your heart, not for display, but with heedfulness. Even walking alone, you can cry out in thought as Moses did, God alone hears that silent cry. Let your tears water the seed of humility. Do not seek to avenge yourself; rather, let your soul be broken rather than strike back. Such a spirit destroys all strife, and not even the Devil can breach a soul guarded by genuine lowliness. The love and kindness of God fill that place where you are, not by a momentary feeling, but by the enduring transformation of a heart that learns meekness from Christ Himself.

The words you sent carry the raw ache of loneliness, depression, and the bitter weight of unresolved hurt. That sense of having been abandoned, of wrestling with hatred toward those who wounded you, it is a heavy burden, and I do not take it lightly. You are not forgotten. The Lord sees into that hidden place. He sent His Son, as it was written, to heal the brokenhearted and to set at liberty those who are crushed within. This is not a mere sentiment; it is the living purpose of Jesus.

I do not pretend there is a tidy formula that instantly erases all the pain. The Scripture shows us that healing comes in many ways. Sometimes Jesus spoke a word and all was restored at once. Other times, as with that blind man at Bethsaida, healing unfolded gradually, a touch, then a second touch, until clarity came. Both are equally His work. Likewise, the healing of the mind and the emotions is often a process. The deep wounds and the hatred that has coiled around those wounds can melt over time, not in a single moment, but as you keep your eyes on the God who binds up every broken place. And understand this: it is no less divine when it comes slowly, through His established processes of grace, than if it arrived in a sudden rush. The Creator of all nature also governs the quiet mending of the inner life.

I also want to relieve you of any burden to produce a certain kind of faith or emotional state to earn healing. We live in a world where some insist that God must heal everyone instantly and that any delay is due to lack of belief. That is not the full scriptural picture. Even Paul, through whom miracles flowed, had a thorn in the flesh that the Lord chose not to remove. Not all our questions find answers this side of eternity. God’s ways are beyond our tracing out, and it is neither true nor loving to heap guilt upon the one who suffers. You do not need to strive to feel a certain way. You need only to come honestly before Him with all your brokenness and empty hands, trusting His sovereign goodness.

What I can say with certainty is that your deepest need, the one that touches eternity, is already answered in Christ. Whether or not the full relief of your emotional turmoil comes today, the forgiveness of sins is yours through faith in Him. And that inward renewal is the root of every lasting healing. As you receive that forgiveness, it also begins to dissolve the hatred you hold against others. I am not downplaying the real injustice you may have suffered, but hatred itself becomes a prison. Jesus came to open prison doors. When you release those who hurt you into the hands of the only righteous Judge, you are not excusing their wrong; you are refusing to let it dominate your heart any longer. This is a gradual healing too, and the Holy Spirit does it gently.

The psalmist knew the depths of discouragement, so crushed that he had to speak to his own soul: “Why are you cast down, O my soul? Hope in God.” That is not a quick fix; it is an honest battle. The answer to depression and the rawness of betrayal is not found in chasing an instant emotional high, but in repeatedly turning your hope toward the Lord who promises to make all things new. One day, in the city of God, there will be a tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. That day all scraps of loneliness and every scar will be fully and finally gone. Until then, He walks with you in the valley. His presence is not distant. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He binds up their wounds with a tenderness no human embrace can match, even the most genuine bear hug.

So I do not offer you a showman’s frenzy or a hollow guarantee. I offer you the Jesus who still heals, who can calm the storm within as surely as He once calmed the sea. Let the tears fall; they are not unseen. He is visiting you right now, not with a theatrical display, but with the quiet love that brings real hope. I pray that the loneliness, depression, and hatred will lose their grip as His everlasting kindness fills the room where you are. May the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob pour that kindness into every shattered corner, and may you know, deep in your spirit, that you are held.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your cry against loneliness, depression, and the weight of past hurts has not gone unheard—we have stood with you in the gap, asking our Heavenly Father to come near and heal every broken place. We prayed that the love of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would flood your soul, driving out every shadow of isolation and filling you with His peace.

If His presence has already begun to mend your heart, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice together in how He has bound up your wounds and wiped away your tears. But if the battle still rages and the heaviness lingers, we ask that you share your request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, believing that the same Jesus who came to heal the brokenhearted will not leave you comfortless.

May you feel His arms around you even now, reminding you that you are never alone. We stand with you in faith, trusting that His kindness and mercy will meet you right where you are. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
