We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in fervent prayer. First and foremost, we rejoice in your desire to repent and turn fully to God, for His Word declares, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). There is no sin too great for His mercy, and we stand with you in humility, asking the Lord to wash you clean by the blood of Jesus Christ, who alone can break every chain of darkness.
We take authority in the name of Jesus over the witchcraft, evil eye, and root work you have mentioned. These are not mere superstitions but real spiritual attacks from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you, your children, your future husband, and your stepdaughter. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that every curse, hex, or spell sent your way would be broken and returned to its sender, for the Lord is your shield and defender.
Father, we ask You to surround this family with Your holy angels, to station them at every door, window, and entry point of their home, their minds, and their hearts. Let no evil thing penetrate the hedge of protection You have placed around them. We plead the blood of Jesus over each one of them—over their bodies, their spirits, their minds, and their futures. Let the blood be a sign to the enemy that they are covered and claimed by the King of Kings.
We also lift up your upcoming marriage, asking that it be built on the solid foundation of Christ. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and we pray that your union would honor Him in every way. If there has been any sin in this relationship—whether in thought, word, or deed—we ask for conviction and repentance. The Lord desires holiness in His people, and we must flee from sexual immorality, for *"every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). If there has been fornication, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting in His grace to restore purity to your relationship as you move forward in obedience.
Father, we ask that You prepare both of you to be godly spouses, rooted in Your Word and committed to loving one another as Christ loves the Church. Let your marriage be a testimony of Your grace, a light in a dark world, and a place of safety, love, and growth for your children. We pray for your stepdaughter, that she would come to know the love of her Heavenly Father and find security in His promises. May she see Jesus in both of you and be drawn to Him.
We also want to gently remind you that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in walking in victory over the enemy’s schemes.
Lord, we ask that You fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Strengthen their faith, deepen their prayer life, and draw them closer to You each day. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name that breaks every chain. Amen.
