We rejoice with you in the victory you are declaring in the name of Jesus Christ! It is truly a blessing to see your gratitude and faith as you celebrate the breakthroughs God has provided, your new job, the restoration of your family, and the healing of your household. We stand with you in praise, for the Lord is faithful to deliver His children from the schemes of the enemy.

The Bible tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You are right to rebuke the works of darkness, for Satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly! We declare with you that the enemy’s games of dismay, confusion, and attack have no place in your life, your family, or your future. Every chain is broken in the mighty name of Jesus!

We also lift up your desire for a husband. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for mutual love, support, and godly offspring (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that the Lord would prepare you for a godly spouse, a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church, and who will lead your household in righteousness. May the Lord guide your steps and theirs, bringing you together in His perfect timing and according to His will.

However, we must gently address a concern in your words. While we understand the excitement of claiming God’s promises, we must be careful not to speak as if we can demand, decree, or control outcomes apart from God’s will. Our faith is not in our own words or declarations, but in the finished work of Christ. Proverbs 19:21 reminds us, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail." We do not create reality by our words, we surrender to God’s will and trust in His sovereignty. Let us always say, "If it is Your will, Lord," rather than presuming to command heaven.

We also notice your mention of a "second job in secret" and keeping certain things hidden from your future husband. The Bible calls us to transparency and honesty in marriage. Ephesians 4:25 says, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another." Secrets can breed mistrust and division. If you desire a godly marriage, we encourage you to walk in openness and integrity, trusting God to provide for your needs without deception.

Regarding your pets, we pray for their health and well-being, for the Lord cares even for the sparrows (Matthew 10:29). May they bring you joy and comfort as you steward them well.

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the victories You have given to our sister in Christ. We thank You for her new job, for the restoration of her family, and for the healing You are bringing to her household. Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy in Jesus’ name, no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that her life is hidden in Christ, and that no evil shall harm her or her loved ones.

Father, we lift up her desire for a husband. We ask that You prepare her heart and the heart of the man You have for her. May he be a man after Your own heart, who will love her as Christ loves the Church. Guard her from impatience or compromise, and lead her in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we also ask for wisdom in her work, her finances, and her relationships. Help her to walk in integrity, transparency, and trust in You. Provide for all her needs, medical, financial, and emotional, according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Heal her family, her friends, and her pets, and let Your peace reign in her home.

Above all, Father, may she continue to grow in her relationship with You. May she seek Your will above all else, trusting that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We’re celebrating with you, a new job after what sounds like a long, grueling season is something to shout about. The relief, the gratitude, the sheer “it’s finally over”, we’ve all been there, and it’s good to let that joy spill out. Thank you, Jesus, indeed.

It’s clear you’ve been carrying a lot, family wounds, worry over pets, the weight of things not being as they should. Now that the immediate pressure of the job search has lifted, give yourself permission to breathe. You don’t have to fight every battle in one breath or command every healing today. The same God who opened this door will keep walking with you into the next needs, at a pace your heart can handle.

As you settle into this work, maybe take one small, practical step that grounds you: write down the most pressing concerns you listed, medical needs, communication with family, a second job, and start with the ones you can touch today, like making those doctor calls or setting a time to reach out to a family member. Little moves help the big picture feel less chaotic.

And for the deeper longings, the husband, the family restored, the healing you’ve demanded, we’ll simply ask together, holding them before the One who already knows every detail.

Jesus, thank you for this job, for this tangible taste of your provision. Quiet the noise in this dear heart, and let your peace guard every part of their life. Heal what’s broken in family relationships, protect the pets they love, and open the right paths for medical care and steady work. Surround them with wise, safe people. And if it’s your will, bring a godly husband in your perfect timing, someone who will cherish them and honor you. For now, we rest in your faithfulness, not our own strength. In Jesus’ name.

How the heart leaps to hear of deliverance! It is the very echo of the psalmist who cried, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” The Lord has been gracious to you, and your soul overflows like a brook released from winter’s ice. This rejoicing is not to be quenched, for we are commanded to shout for joy when the captives are freed. Yet, in the midst of such holy transport, let us anchor our gladness in the Rock from which we were hewn.

You speak of commanding and decreeing, but the child of God learns a sweeter word, entreaty. It is a gift of Divine Love that a Ransom has been found, not that we have found it, but that God himself has provided it. “Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom.” That ransom is Christ Jesus, and it is in his blood, not in the loudness of our claims, that victory is won. When we declare and demand, we stand too like Job’s counsellors, eager to instruct the Almighty. Job found his true deliverance not in justifying himself, but in abhorring himself and repenting in dust and ashes. That was the sign, God turned his captivity when he prayed for his friends, not when he thundered decrees into the whirlwind.

Be grateful, then, with a gratitude that humbly wonders. You have been sick, and you are healed; you were oppressed, and the enemy has fled, rejoice! But remember, Satan is not a beast to be cowed by our shouts; he trembles only at the name of Jesus. Every arrow of the Evil One is quenched by the shield of faith, not by our own noise. The Lord might have permitted your trials to teach you that even the worst blows lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling. As Job said, “Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” If you have emerged from the pit with a double portion of joy, let it be because you have seen that his hand was in it all, making even the sharpest smart a fatherly chastening.

Now, concerning your desires, a husband, a job, your family restored, your pets blessed, these are not wicked cravings. God feeds the sparrows and cares for the cattle on a thousand hills. But take heed: our life is a life of liberty, yet it is not a life of our own carving. The rush in the water bends with the wind, yielding to every current, and so it thrives. We must bend, too, to the sweet will of our Father. If he grants your requests, it will be in his time and way, and you must receive them as tokens of his grace, not wages for your faith. A secret job, secret blessings, why secret? Let your life be an open epistle, known and read of all. The Lord does not work in corners that we should hide his goodness.

Above all, cling to the greater deliverance. “He has delivered us from the power of darkness.” Sin, that old dragon, is the only tyrant worth our lifelong dread. If you have escaped from the jaw of the lion and the paw of the bear, go now and fight the monster, tear others from his power. Let your testimony be, “Now mine eye seeth thee,” and let your conduct sing more sweetly than your lips, “I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” Then shall your night truly be turned to morning, and the noise of the archers shall be heard no more.

Go your way, then, with quiet confidence, not with frantic claims. The Lord who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Christ. Your basics are healed, your life is held in his pierced hands. Live to declare his works, and let your gratitude be a deep, steady river, not a frothy torrent that soon runs dry.

You have received a job, and for this we give thanks to God. Yet I must speak plainly about the manner of your supplication. To “speak, claim, create, control, declare, decree, demand, edit into existence”, this is not prayer, but a form of insolence before the throne of grace. The Almighty is not a servant to be commanded, nor are His gifts manipulated by loud or prolonged incantations. Did not our Lord teach us to say, “Thy will be done”? We ask, we entreat, we cast our cares upon Him; we do not seize what He alone gives. Rejoice in kindness received, but do not imagine that your words have forced God’s hand.

Do you desire a husband? Marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled. But why do you speak of a husband who takes you to work “in secret” and of a second job that is also “in secret”? Why such hiddenness? The life of a believer is a life of light, not of concealed and questionable dealings. Marriage is a bond ordained of God; it is not a partnership in what must be hidden from others. I have said that we must “follow peace with all men, and holiness.” That holiness includes chaste and orderly living within marriage, avoiding even the appearance of shame. If your circumstances require stealth, examine them carefully lest you find yourself walking in a way that dishonors the faith. Let all be done with such transparency that your conscience is clean before God and before men.

You also heap up words about “games of dismay,” “portals,” and binding Satan. You declare an end to stealing, killing, and destroying. Child, do you not know that Christ disarmed the principalities and powers on the cross? We resist the devil not by shouting decrees at him, but by standing firm in the faith, by soberness of mind, and by a life of obedience. The blood of Jesus which you invoke is not a magical formula appended to a list of demands; it is the precious ransom by which we are cleansed, the foundation of humility, not of presumption. To wave it like a weapon while commanding the heavens is to misuse the very mystery of our redemption.

Beware of the many words. When you seek peace, seek it in the manner of the Church. Every liturgy says, “Peace unto all.” That is no mere form. It is the peace of Christ, which surpasses understanding, the mother of all good things. If you would have true normalcy and healing in your family, begin by putting away clamor, for where peace is wanting, everything falls to ruin. Commend your needs, your family, your pets, your communication, to God with simplicity. He hears. But do not think that by energetic repetition you will be heard for your much speaking. Bring your requests, then leave them at His feet in quiet trust.

Finally, concerning marriage: if God provides a husband, receive him with modesty and gratitude. Do not make your wedding or your life together a spectacle after the manner of the world, with its laughter and coarse displays. I have said before that marriage is not a hindrance to the kingdom when used with moderation. But it must be entered with all gravity and a firm purpose to live in holiness. Secrecy that breeds suspicion is no foundation for a lasting union. Flee from it. Walk openly, for he who does the truth comes to the light. Let your rejoicing be seasoned with reverence, and your requests with submission to the God who alone knows what is best for our salvation.

What joy there is when a long season of struggle finally breaks. You have tasted a fresh measure of deliverance, and giving thanks to Jesus is exactly right. He hears the cry of the desperate, and He delights to show compassion on those who call on Him. The feet that were once sinking now stand on solid ground, and gratitude should rise.

But notice what the foundation always remains. It is not the strength of our own declarations that moves the hand of God, nor the volume of our demands. The blood of Jesus is the one provision for every need, and the cross is where every true victory was already secured. When Jesus faced the cup of suffering in Gethsemane, He prayed, “Not what I will, but what You will.” He trusted the Father’s will completely, and through that submission, the powers of darkness were broken. We do not wrestle our way into blessing by repeating words as if they carry magic; we rest in what the Son has already accomplished for us. He has led us out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light. Because of His sacrifice, the enemy’s accusations fall silent, and the grip of destruction is loosened.

Desires for a job, for family to be restored, for pets to be healthy, for a husband to appear, these are real longings, and the Lord sees each one. He saw the woman with the hemorrhage who had suffered for twelve years, isolated and growing weaker. She did not shout decrees into the air; she reached out in trembling faith and touched the edge of His garment, and virtue flowed from Him to her. Our confidence is not in how loudly we speak but in the One we are touching by faith. Come to Him with your requests, lay them out with thanksgiving, and then trust. You are not responsible to make things happen by your own force of will; you are invited to rest in His love.

Beware of anything that treats the Almighty as though He can be commanded. The crowds followed Jesus wanting something from Him but sometimes missed who He truly was. They wanted healing, bread, political freedom, yet many refused His deeper call to repentance and relationship. Nothing is hidden from Him, not the secret hopes you whisper, not the motives no one else sees. And He is far more interested in making you whole inwardly than in granting every outer wish on your own terms. There is a bond in the family of God that runs deeper than any natural tie. When He heals, it reaches into the spirit as well as the body and the circumstances.

So let this new day be marked not by frantic declarations but by the kind of peace that comes from knowing you are a beloved son or daughter, with whom He is well pleased because of Jesus. The same Spirit who descended on Christ now lives in all who trust Him. Grow past the elementary things and into maturity, where trust replaces anxiety and simple dependence replaces spiritual striving. The Father knows what you need before you ask. Keep thanking Jesus, keep bringing your requests honestly, and then leave the timing and the outcome in His hands. The destroyer has already been defeated at the cross; you do not need to shout him down. Walk in that finished work, and let His joy be your strength.
