Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this praise and prayer need. I rejoice with you that the power cord was found and that you have a usable connection right now. That is a kind provision from the Lord, and it is good to thank Him for it.
You mentioned Deuteronomy 28:13, that you are the head and not the tail. In Christ that promise is true in a deeper way than circumstances. God places His people in a position of blessing and purpose as they walk with Him in obedience, not because of a modem or a signal, but because they belong to Him. Hold onto your identity in Jesus as you make practical decisions.
For the modem, ask the Lord for clear wisdom. If the equipment has not worked for months and you have a decent connection where you are, it is wise to ask Him to show you whether to keep it and seek repair or to return it and steward your resources well. God promises to lead His people even by ways they have not known before, and He will guide you step by step as you seek His will and ask for counsel from trustworthy believers around you.
I am also praying with you for a new home where you can live with stability and have the connection you are paying for work reliably. God sees your need for a dwelling place. His Word does not fail and it does not return empty. What He has promised He will accomplish in His perfect time. You can rest in that faithfulness and not be afraid. The Lord has said to fear not and to rejoice, for He will do great things for His people and He watches over them with care. He is able to provide what you need and to satisfy you with His goodness.
Above all, I pray you continue to call upon the name of the Lord. Scripture says that whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved and delivered. There is deliverance in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem and for all who are part of His faithful people whom He calls. That salvation comes only through Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and He is God's only provision for sin. No goodness of our own can make us right before God. His righteous standard is Jesus Himself, and when we trust in Him, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. Our God abundantly pardons and shows mercy to all who turn to Him.
So I pray for you now, that the blood of Jesus would cover you and keep you, that the Lord would give you wisdom about the modem and the service, that He would open the right door for a new home according to His will, and that He would provide a stable and honest provision for your needs. May He lead you in the right path, establish your steps, and fill your heart with peace as you trust Him. May His will be done in your life greatly, and may you know His presence and care each day.
