Wrongly Accused

Almost 18 years ago I was accused of being the driver of a car involved in an accident and was charged with DUI. I wasn't driving the car and fought the charge for over a year. When I finally got my lawyer paid off, he lied to me to get me to plead no contest to avoid jail, he thought I would rehire him again so he could make more money. I lost everything because of a witness's assumption. I didn't figure out why she thought I was driving until it was too late. The guy that was driving left the state of florida (where it happened) before he was charged. I was left with no drivers license then no job because I couldn't drive. After I lost my place to live and was put on probation for something I didn't even do, I couldn't take anymore and left the state myself. Well here I am, disabled now and unable to even collect disability because of a warrant stemming from this issue. I want to clear this matter up but am afraid that the legal system won't even listen to me. Please pray for a miracle for me that somehow the truth will be obvious to all, especially the witness. A true miracle would be video footage of the accident, although that's more than a longshot. I have quit drinking now if anyone is interested and would like to have what is left of my life back. I have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and am unsure of my longevity. I would like to clear my name before I am gone. Thanks to all and God bless.

Lord, I pray for truth and justice to prevail. I pray a hedge against the enemy for his lies and falsifications. Lord, will you intervene and open doors that will help this man to avenge himself, to be able to get the help he needs for living expenses. Will you open doors and put him in contact with the proper help. Lord, I pray for your mercy and grace as he goes about resolving these issues. I thank you for your hand upon him to bring this nightmare to an end. Thank you and praise you, Lord. Amen

Thank you silentangel, the legal system seems to work against you once you are accused of something. I'm trying to get in touch with people that will help me but no one seems to want to do anything without seeing money first. I managed to find the witness's address and sent her a letter explaining what happened, she didn't respond. Then I found her phone number and she refuses to talk to me. So it looks like if I want to get this going, I will have to just go there and hope for the best, which I don't think will be in my favor. When you cannot afford justice you won't get very far in a courtroom. Just wanted to say thank you for your prayer and hope the best for you, God bless you and I know deep inside that you are really are an angel.
