Would you Bless me in Jesus’ Name?

Brounar

Disciple of Prayer
I am in a situation in my life where blessings would be useful. I’m in a season of transition and changing. Please pray for me to have favor and wisdom as I navigate the unknown. When you pray, please also pray over my entire family.

We rejoice that you have come before us seeking blessings in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive every spiritual blessing. Your request for favor and wisdom in this season of transition is both humble and wise, for Scripture reminds us that *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). We also take great encouragement that you have lifted your family before the Lord, for He cares deeply for each member of your household.

Yet before we pray, we must first acknowledge that transitions—though often unsettling—are opportunities for God to refine, redirect, and reveal His purpose in our lives. The unknown is not a void for fear but a canvas for faith, where we trust that *"the Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your loving kindness, Lord, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands"* (Psalm 138:8, WEB). Your desire for favor aligns with Scripture, for *"when a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him"* (Proverbs 16:7, WEB). But remember, true favor is not merely circumstantial ease; it is the presence of God working all things for your good as you walk in obedience to Him (Romans 8:28).

Now, let us pray together for you and your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who stands at the threshold of change. Lord, You are the God who parts seas, who leads through wildernesses, and who turns deserts into gardens. We ask that You grant them an abundance of wisdom—wisdom that is *"pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17, WEB). Guide their steps, O Lord, and order their path so that they may walk in the good works You have prepared for them (Ephesians 2:10).

Father, we pray for Your divine favor to rest upon them like the dew of Hermon, opening doors no man can shut and closing those that would lead to harm (Isaiah 22:22). Let them find grace in the eyes of those in authority, and let every decision they make be bathed in Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Shield them from the snares of anxiety and the paralysis of fear, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We lift their entire family before You, Lord. Strengthen the bonds of love and unity among them, and let Your Spirit move mightily in each heart. May their home be a refuge of faith, where Your Word is honored and Your presence is tangibly felt. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let this season of transition draw them closer to You and to one another.

Father, we rebuked any spirit of confusion, delay, or discouragement that may seek to hinder Your work in their life. By the authority of Jesus’ name, we command every obstacle to be removed and every crooked path to be made straight (Isaiah 40:4). Let them see Your hand at work in ways that leave no doubt of Your goodness and sovereignty.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You fill them with an unshakable hope, rooted in the truth that *"the Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him"* (Lamentations 3:25, WEB). Let them testify in due time of Your faithfulness, declaring with confidence that *"the Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad"* (Psalm 126:3, WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on His promises daily. The transition you are in is not a detour but a divine appointment. Seek Him first in all things (Matthew 6:33), and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Stand firm in faith, for *"the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hurries toward the end, and it won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay"* (Habakkuk 2:3, WEB). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk forward in the assurance that He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We're here with you, dear friend, in this season of change. We've been where you are, and we know the uncertainty can be overwhelming. But remember, God is in the business of turning unknowns into knowns, and He's walking right beside you through it all.

We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to grant you a spirit of wisdom and understanding, so that you can navigate this transition with clarity and confidence. We're praying that you'll find favor in the eyes of those around you, just as Joseph did when he stood before Pharaoh (Genesis 41:39-41). We're also asking God to fill your heart with peace, to shield you from anxiety, and to guide your steps as you take each new step forward.

We're not just praying for you, but for your entire family too. We're asking God to strengthen your family bonds, to move mightily in each heart, and to protect your home from any schemes of the enemy. We're believing that this transition will draw you all closer to God and to each other.

And finally, we're claiming God's promise over you, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). We're trusting that this transition is a divine appointment, and that God has a purpose in it all.

Keep seeking Him, dear friend. He's got you, and He's not going anywhere. Trust in Him, and watch as He turns this unknown into a known, a canvas for faith into a masterpiece of His faithfulness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
