πŸ™Œ For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name."

We come before the Lord with hearts full of reverence, acknowledging the profound truth in the prayer our Savior taught us. The Lord’s Prayer is not merely a recitation but a blueprint for how we ought to approach our Heavenly Father, first with worship, then with surrender to His will, and finally with our petitions. You’ve rightly highlighted the order: seeking His kingdom first, honoring His name, and aligning our desires with His perfect will before presenting our needs.

Jesus Himself instructs us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This is not a suggestion but a command with a promise. When we prioritize God’s kingdom, His rule, His purposes, and His glory, everything else falls into its rightful place. Our daily bread, forgiveness, and deliverance from evil are not afterthoughts but provisions granted to those who first seek Him.

Yet we must examine our own hearts in this. How often do we reverse the order, coming to God with a laundry list of requests before we’ve truly worshiped Him or surrendered to His will? The line you’ve drawn in the prayer, separating the worship and kingdom-focused petitions from the personal ones, serves as a powerful reminder. It is a call to pause and ask ourselves: Am I approaching God as a consumer, or as a worshiper? The difference is everything.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we bow before You, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Your name is holy, and Your kingdom is eternal. Forgive us for the times we have rushed into prayer with our needs before we’ve paused to adore You. Forgive us for treating Your throne like a vending machine rather than the holy seat of the Almighty. Today, we choose to seek You first. We declare that Your kingdom come, Your will be done, here on earth as it is in heaven. Align our hearts with Yours, Lord. Let our desires be shaped by Your Word and our steps directed by Your Spirit.

Father, as we come to You for our daily bread, we trust You to provide, not because we’ve earned it, but because You are faithful. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive those who have wronged us. Break the chains of bitterness and resentment in our lives, Lord. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. We recognize that apart from You, we are powerless against the schemes of the enemy. Strengthen us, Lord, to stand firm in Your truth.

We proclaim that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. May our lives reflect that truth today. Help us to live as citizens of Your kingdom, shining Your light in a dark world. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, let us not grow weary in seeking Him first. The world will tell us to chase after success, comfort, or approval, but God’s Word is clear: "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). When we delight in Him, our desires begin to align with His, and He faithfully provides. This is the promise we stand on.

If you find yourself struggling to put God first, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the idols in your heart, those things you’ve placed before Him. It may be a relationship, a career, a dream, or even your own comfort. Whatever it is, lay it at the foot of the cross and choose to seek Him above all else. He is worthy of our first and our best.

And to those who may be reading this and have never surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we must share the truth: there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If you’ve never confessed Him as Lord, today is the day of salvation. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life. This is the first and most important step in seeking God’s kingdom. Without Jesus, we have no access to the Father. With Him, we have everything we need.

Oh Lord, we’re so grateful for this reminder of Your priority in our lives. There’s something so freeing about starting with worship, realizing that our first response to You isn’t about what we need, but who You are. It’s like coming into Your presence with empty hands, just to adore You, and then trusting that everything else will unfold as You intend.

We love how You’ve structured this prayer, first the kingdom, then the personal. It’s like You’re saying, β€œLet Me be Your focus, and then I’ll take care of the rest.” But honestly, Lord, sometimes we still stumble into that old habit of rushing to our list before we’ve even paused to breathe in Your presence. Forgive us for the times we’ve treated prayer like a transaction instead of a conversation. Help us to slow down, to let our hearts catch up with our lips.

And Father, as we seek Your kingdom first, we’re asking for a fresh hunger for Your will. Not just in the big things, but in the small, everyday moments, where we choose Your way over our own convenience, Your peace over our anxiety, Your love over our pride. Show us where we’ve been holding back, where we’ve been trying to navigate life on our own. Break those patterns, Lord. Remind us that You’re not just waiting to answer our prayers, You’re waiting to lead us.

We declare Your kingdom is coming, even here. Your will is being done in our lives as we surrender more fully. And when we come to You for our daily bread, forgive us for the times we’ve asked with doubt or distraction. Instead, we ask for Your provision with faith, knowing that You provide not just for our needs, but for Your glory.

Lead us, Lord. Not into temptation, but through it, stronger, more dependent on You. And when we stumble, when we fail, when we forget, remind us that Your grace is bigger than our messes. We’re Yours, and You’re ours. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

And to those who are still searching, still wondering if there’s more, we see You in this prayer, too. Jesus isn’t just for the β€œready” believers; He’s for the ones who are still asking. He’s waiting for you, just as He was waiting for us. Let’s keep our hearts open, ready to share the hope we’ve found in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of praying alongside you as you sought the Lord’s kingdom first and aligned your heart with His will through the beautiful model of the Lord’s Prayer. What a joy it is to stand in agreement with you as we lift up our Father’s name, His kingdom, and His perfect purposesβ€”both in heaven and here on earth.

As the days have passed, we continue to hold this prayer close, asking the Holy Spirit to move mightily in your life. If God has already answered in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would love to rejoice with youβ€”please share a praise report so we can glorify Him together. If the answer hasn’t yet become clear, we invite you to post this request again so we may persist in prayer with you, trusting that our faithful God hears and responds in His perfect timing.

May the Lord deepen your hunger for Him, strengthen your faith, and remind you daily that He is a good Father who delights in meeting your needs. We pray this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
