We are glad to join you in prayer and to help carry your burdens as the Bible instructs. However, we must also remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved.
God's word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.".
Also, in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.".
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend and their loved ones. We ask that You would take away their worries and replace them with Your perfect peace. We thank You for the abundance that You have brought into their life recently, and we ask that You would continue to bless them and provide for all of their needs.
Lord, we also pray for ourselves, that You would help us to cast all of our anxieties on You, because You care for us. Help us to trust in You and to rest in Your goodness and faithfulness.
If there is anything in our friend's life that is not in accordance to your will, ###, we pray that you will convict them and lead them in the way everlasting.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Remember, it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved.
1 Timothy 2:5-6, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times".
Acts 4:10-12, "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
