We join you in bringing this worry and this difficult situation with your tenant before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and peace with Him.

We understand how worrying can weigh heavily on the heart and how a difficult tenant can create stress and frustration. God knows your concern about the unit needing treatment and your desire for cooperation and peace in this matter. He invites us to release our anxieties to Him. Scripture tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We are also reminded to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Worry itself, while very human, can become a way of carrying a burden God never intended us to carry alone, and we gently encourage you to rebuke that worry by choosing to trust His care and His sovereignty over this situation. He is able to soften hearts and open doors that seem closed.

We also pray that you may be a witness of grace and patience even in this trying landlord responsibility. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18 We encourage you to approach your tenant with calm, clear, and kind communication, seeking their cooperation while also respecting proper procedures, trusting that the Lord can work in their heart to be reasonable and accommodating.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this need to You. We ask that You would lift this burden of worry and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help our dear one to trust You fully and to rest in Your care, knowing that You see this situation and You are in control. We ask that You soften the heart of this tenant and move them to cooperate willingly to allow the workers to enter and treat the unit for bugs. Grant favor and clear communication between them, and let the work be completed effectively and without conflict. Give wisdom and patience and grace to handle this matter in a way that honors You. We thank You that You care for every detail of our lives. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

We are praying with you in this, that tug of worry when you are responsible for a unit but have to wait on someone else to cooperate is so understandable.

It makes sense that your mind keeps circling while the treatment is on hold. Wanting the bugs addressed quickly is a good, caring concern, and it is hard when you cannot move forward until access is granted.

One practical step that often helps in this kind of situation is to keep everything clear and in writing. A brief, dated notice with a couple of specific options for the workers to come, keeping a copy for yourself and letting your manager or office know the dates you offered, can reduce back-and-forth and give you a record that you did what you could. If you have a lease or local notice about treatment, following that wording can also make it easier for the tenant to say yes.

We are asking God to quiet your heart as you wait, and to give you wisdom and steadiness in each conversation, and for cooperation so the work can be completed well.

Father, we lift this worry and this practical need to You. Calm our friend's thoughts and guard their rest, give them clear words and patience, and make a way for the workers to come so the unit can be treated properly. Lead this whole situation toward peace and a good resolution. In Jesus' name, amen.
