I feel so anxious about the stability of my housing , I have still not yet received confirmation my support will be continued and I have no income, so I'm praying I hear good news soon and that my anxieties can be relieved. Thank you

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of uncertainty and anxiety. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed when your housing and financial stability are at risk. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We are encouraged to bring our worries to God, trusting that He hears us and will provide for our needs according to His will.

First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can find true peace and salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first step in finding lasting peace and hope.

Now, let us lift up your concerns to our Heavenly Father in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is facing uncertainty and anxiety about their housing situation. Lord, You know the depths of their worries and the weight of their fears. We ask that You would grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, we trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You would provide confirmation and stability regarding their housing support, and open doors for financial provision according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we pray that You would give them strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You would surround them with Your love and the support of Your people, that they may feel Your presence and comfort in this time of need.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and guidance as they navigate this challenging situation. Lead them to the right resources, people, and opportunities that will help them secure stable housing and income. May they trust in Your timing and Your plans, which are for their good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus Christ, and we declare that this dear one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We speak peace over their situation and declare that God is their provider, their sustainer, and their hope.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to seek help. Reach out to local churches, community organizations, and government agencies that may offer assistance with housing and financial support. Do not hesitate to ask for help from those around you, as we are called to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Remember, God is our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your struggles and knows your needs. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and allow His peace to fill your heart as you wait for His provision. We are here with you, standing in faith and believing for a breakthrough in your situation. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you through this valley into a place of stability and peace.

We're sitting with you in this worry, and we want you to know that your anxiety makes complete sense. This isn't abstract dread, you're waiting on news that directly affects your roof and your stability, with no income to fall back on. Anyone would feel the strain of that uncertainty.

While you wait for the confirmation, a concrete step might help steady your mind. Is there a caseworker or housing office contact you can reach out to this week, just to check on the status? Sometimes simply knowing when you'll know, even if the answer isn't instant, can quiet some of the spinning thoughts. If you belong to a local church, you might also quietly let a pastor or benevolence team know you're in this limbo, not necessarily to solve it, but so someone nearby is aware and can stand with you practically if the waiting stretches on.

We're also mindful that carrying this alone amplifies the weight. You've done the right thing by sharing it here, and we hope you have one or two people in your life who can simply hear you and not try to fix it immediately. That's not weakness, it's wisdom.

Lord Jesus, you see this uncertainty and the fear it brings. We ask for good news to arrive, and soon. In the meantime, quiet the racing thoughts and give your child enough light for today, a steady place until the answer comes. Keep false fears from having the last word, and provide what's needed in your timing. Amen.

The trial of suspense is itself a severe mercy, a furnace to refine your faith, for if every answer came at the first asking, where would be the patience of the saints? Yet consider how the Lord deals with His anxious children. He who hears the young ravens when they cry will not turn a deaf ear to your necessity. The grass never asked for the dew, and yet every blade has its own drop; shall you daily cry for the dew of grace and provision, and there be no drop for you? That is impossible. Make a full confession of your unbelief as a good beginning for prayer, and then plead as one who believes God exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Solomon asked for wisdom and God gave him wealth and power besides; often He gives ten times more than we ask. Jacob asked for bread and raiment and was made into two bands. Trust, then, in the character of a giving God, for it shall be given him.

Do not be silenced or stayed if the answer seems to tarry. Sometimes a gracious God delays an answer to prepare you for a great work or to make the blessing doubly sweet when it comes. If you are stirred to anxiety, pray over it at once, do not lose the auspicious moment. The very best way to wait on the Master is to be found doing His will, casting your care upon Him through earnest, importunate prayer. Cry “Lord, help me!” from your heart, it is a prayer so handy that it may be breathed at any instant. It will steady you, it will play the man for you, and it is sure to be heard. And remember, even now, before you see the deliverance, Christ Himself has prayed for you that your faith fail not. His intercession is prevalent and prevenient; it precedes your trial and ensures you are kept. It is a far more blessed thing to realize He is pleading for you than to fret over earthly confirmations.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything let your requests be made known. If you become so anxious as to lose clearness of mind, you will not be fit for the emergency. Recollect that our abode here is for our own good, for the world’s benefit, and for God’s glory. For your own soul’s sake, tarry a little longer in the school of dependence; for the sake of others who observe how a Christian bears trial; and for the glory of Christ, who is magnified when His people trust Him in the dark. Lay hold upon this promise: “Cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary.” Make the Lord’s house, His people, and His cause the object of your prayer alongside your own need, and sincerity of heart will be proven when you act in faith. Now the God of peace be with you. Breathe the prayer without ceasing, “Lord, revive me, help me, give me this day my daily bread,” and He who never finally refuses the plea of His chosen shall send good news in His appointed hour.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are anxious about the roof over your head and the daily bread that has not yet arrived, and your mind spins like a sail caught in a contrary wind. But consider: is not shelter among those things our Lord counted as necessary? He who clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven, if He so adorns what is superfluous, how much more will He not supply what is needful for His own children? Your very anxiety springs from the thought that these things are necessary, yet that same necessity should be the anchor of your calm. No father neglects his child’s bare needs; will your heavenly Father, who knows you have need of these things, withhold them? Your fear actually becomes a reason for confidence.

But the soul that slackens under worry receives no breath of the Spirit, just as a windless sail hangs useless. Stretch your mind toward heaven with great earnestness. In prayer, brace up your will, not with cords but with vehement hope, and let no creeping thought of poverty or delay loosen that tightness. The star that led the wise men did not move by its own course; it halted when they halted, went forward when they went. So does God’s providence appear at the very moment it is required. It may hide for a season to sharpen your desire, but it will shine again when the time is fit. You must wait for that season, and in waiting, give God the interest of your trust.

Do not imagine that this trial is a sign of His displeasure. The Apostle’s chains became a confirmation of the Gospel; his weakness perfected strength. What the world calls instability, God can use to display His mercy and your own endurance. If you must stand in need of others, do not blush. The poor man who asks for his support is often more honorable than the rich who grasp for useless abundance. And if you must even depend on a favorable word from those in authority, remember that the very public nature of your need becomes a theater for grace, where you lean not on your own resources but on the Father who sees in secret.

Above all, do not measure God’s care by the speed of the reply. The priest stirs up the fire continuously, not because the flame is dead, but to rouse it to greater brightness. I stir you up now, not as one teaching new things, but reminding you: the offering of your faith, tested in this furnace, is made acceptable by the Holy Spirit. Let that Fire not be quenched by murmuring. Keep your soul stretched tight, in prayer, in almsgiving, in hope of the world to come, and the perishable weight of this present worry will shake off and fall away. For a time, you may need to stand like Job, but not for the same end: his was for brighter crowns, yours, if you endure, is for the loosing of anxiety itself, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding.
