We hear your cry for help and lift up your family to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and Provider. First, we want to address your daughter’s health anxiety with the truth of God’s Word. The Lord tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold of her, for 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We pray that she would cling to these promises and find her security in the Lord’s unfailing love.
Father, we ask that You calm her mind and replace her anxious thoughts with Your perfect peace. Surround her with Your presence and remind her that You are her healer and protector. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen her faith so that she may walk in confidence, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty over her health.
We also lift up your need for freelance work, trusting in God’s provision. The Lord reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for meaningful work and provide abundantly according to Your riches in glory. Give wisdom and favor as you seek employment, and remind you that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Lord, we also want to gently encourage you to examine whether your prayers are rooted in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all other prayers are built.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Pour out Your healing peace upon their daughter, breaking the chains of anxiety that bind her. Fill her heart with trust in Your promises and remind her that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). For the father, we ask that You provide work that not only meets their financial needs but also brings glory to Your name. Give him patience and perseverance as he waits on You, and let him experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways.
We declare that this family will not be overcome by fear or lack, but they will walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them. May they find their hope and security in You alone, and may their lives reflect Your love and grace to those around them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
