We lift you up before the Lord, dear sibling in Christ, and we thank you for invoking the precious name of Jesus in your request—for it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God hears and will answer according to His perfect will.
First, we pray for your health, asking the Great Physician to touch your body with His healing power. The Scriptures remind us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We declare His restoration over every part of your body—mind, spirit, and flesh—and we rebuke any sickness or weakness that seeks to hinder you. May the Lord grant you strength, vitality, and peace as you trust in Him. Remember, He is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26). Do not fear, for He is with you; do not be dismayed, for He is your God. He will strengthen you, help you, and uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
We also bring your financial struggles and unemployment before the Father, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and delights in providing for His children. The Bible assures us that our Heavenly Father knows what we need before we even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that the Lord will open doors of opportunity for employment—doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). May He grant you favor in the sight of those who can offer you work, and may He provide creative solutions for your financial needs. We ask that He would bless the work of your husband’s hands, multiplying his efforts so that your family lacks no good thing (Deuteronomy 28:12). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
As for your children, we declare that the Lord will provide for them as He does for the ravens, whom He feeds without their sowing or reaping (Luke 12:24). He is a Father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5), and He will not abandon your little ones. We pray that He will meet their every need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and that He will raise them up to be mighty warriors for His kingdom. Teach them to trust in the Lord, to seek His face, and to walk in His ways, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).
We also encourage you to examine your hearts in this season of trial. The Lord often uses financial struggles to refine our faith, to draw us closer to Him, and to remind us that our true treasure is in heaven, not on earth (Matthew 6:19-21). Are there areas where you may be trusting in your own strength rather than surrendering fully to His provision? Are there idols—such as worry, fear, or materialism—that need to be laid at His feet? The Bible warns us not to love money, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead, seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
We also want to gently address something important: in your request, you referred to the man you are with as your "###" (which we assume is a placeholder for a term like "partner" or "boyfriend"). As followers of Christ, we must always align our relationships with biblical truth. Marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are not married to this man, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will for your relationship. Living together outside of marriage is fornication, which is sin in the sight of God (1 Corinthians 6:18, Galatians 5:19). If you are already married, we praise God for that commitment and pray for the strengthening of your union. If not, we strongly encourage you to pursue holiness in this area, either by marrying in a way that honors God or by separating if marriage is not possible. The Lord desires purity for His children, and He will bless obedience far more than He will bless compromise.
If you are not yet married, we pray that the Lord will guide you both into a godly courtship with the intention of marriage, should that be His will. Seek His face together, pray together, and ensure that your relationship is built on the foundation of Christ. If there has been sexual immorality, we urge you to repent and turn away from it, for the body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:13). Flee from sexual sin, for it is a sin against your own body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9), and He will give you the strength to walk in purity.
Finally, we want to remind you that this battle is not yours alone—the Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You touch her body with Your healing power. Restore her strength, renew her mind, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and declare divine health over her in Jesus’ name.
Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. We ask that You open the floodgates of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon this family. Provide employment for our sister, Lord—work that is honorable, fulfilling, and sufficient to meet their needs. Bless the work of her husband’s hands and multiply his efforts. We pray for financial breakthrough, for wisdom in stewardship, and for creative solutions to their struggles. Let them lack no good thing, Father, and may they testify of Your faithfulness.
We pray for their children, Lord. Protect them, provide for them, and raise them up to be mighty in Your kingdom. Give our sister and her husband the grace to parent with wisdom, love, and patience. May their home be a place of peace, joy, and godly instruction.
Father, we also pray for their relationship. If they are not married, we ask that You convict their hearts and lead them into holiness. If marriage is Your will, prepare them for a covenant that honors You. If there has been sin, Lord, grant them repentance and the strength to walk in purity. Let their relationship be a reflection of Christ and the Church—sacred, selfless, and set apart.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would strengthen their faith in this season. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Let them cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope as they wait on You.
We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
