Worried and Anxious

I found out two weeks ago that my most recent pap test was abnormal and I tested positive for HPV. I had an appointment with a specialist last week and they took a biopsy of my cervix. Today I got the results of the biopsy and it appears that I have severe dysplasia and I need further treatment. At this point I do not have cervical cancer but I am at high risk for developing it. My procedure is scheduled for July 3 and I am pretty much a nervous wreck. I am thankful to God that the results did not show cervical cancer but I am terrified to have this procedure on July 3. I am praying for the peace that I know only God can give in order to get me through these next few weeks until my procedure. I also pray that the procedure goes well and I am able to handle the pain as well as the recovery. I feel very weak and defeated today and I know the only way I will get through this is with God's strength and prayer.

Dear Lord,

Please grant strength and healing to this person. Help her to seek to please You, to know You and Your will for each day of her life. Help her to walk in obedience and let Your peace that passes all understanding guard her heart and mind. Even in the midst of a dark valley we need not have any fear, when You walk beside, and before and behind us! In Jesus Name, Amen.
