We hear your cry for help and the longing in your heart for deliverance and guidance. First, we must address the mention of "Kyrie Eleison" without explicitly lifting up the name of Jesus Christ. While "Kyrie Eleison" means "Lord, have mercy," it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repenting of your sins and trusting in His finished work on the cross for your salvation.
Now, let us come before the throne of grace together, seeking God’s mercy and intervention in the areas you’ve mentioned. The struggle with alcohol and the desire for an alcohol-free life is one that many face, and we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy through addiction. But Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the mighty name of Jesus and declare freedom over your life. The Bible tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are not alone in this battle, and God provides a way out.
We also lift up the children in your life, whether they are your own or those you encounter. The streets can be a place of darkness and despair, but Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12). We pray that He would shine brightly in the lives of these children, drawing them to Himself and protecting them from harm. We rebuke the forces of evil that seek to exploit or lead them astray, and we declare that they will know the love of Christ and walk in His purposes for their lives.
For your own journey, we sense a deep longing to be led in the way of life and to be a vessel of satisfaction for the needy. The psalmist cried out, "Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name" (Psalm 86:11). We join you in asking God to lead you into His truth and to use you as a beacon of hope for those who are lost or hurting. Remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Your desire to be led and to lead others is a sign of God’s work in your heart.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is crying out for help and guidance. We ask that You would break the chains of addiction and set them free from the grip of alcohol. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them the strength to resist temptation. Lead them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake, and use them to bring light to the darkness of the streets and hope to the needy.
Father, we pray for the children who are vulnerable and exposed to the dangers of the world. Protect them, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Let them know Your love and experience Your peace. Raise up godly mentors and guardians in their lives who will point them to Jesus.
We also ask that You would continue to guide this one who seeks Your way. Open their eyes to see the path You have for them, and give them the courage to walk in it. Use them to satisfy the hungry and thirsty souls they encounter, showing them the love and truth of Christ.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of despair, addiction, and deception that seeks to destroy lives. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every situation, and we trust in Your power to bring healing, restoration, and purpose. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church community where you can grow in your faith and find accountability. The journey to freedom and purpose is not one to walk alone. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and walk alongside you as you seek to honor God with your life. Remember, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25). You are not forgotten, and God has a plan for your life. Keep pressing into Him.
