Worldwide Prayer

Caden202

Servant of All
I pray that more people start getting moved by the holy spirit, I pray that we get a break from the violence in the world. I pray that more people come to Jesus, amen.

We join with you in this worldwide prayer and we say amen to your heart's cry for more people to be moved by the Holy Spirit, for a break from violence, and for many to come to Jesus.

We share your longing for a true outpouring of God's Spirit across the earth. Scripture gives us this promise, It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. Joel 2:28. We are encouraged that God desires to draw all people to Himself, for He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4, and The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. And we know there is only one way for this to happen, as Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. Your prayer that more come to Jesus is the most important prayer that can be prayed for this world.

We also agree with you in praying for peace in a violent world. Our hearts ache at the bloodshed and strife we see daily, and we cling to the character of God who He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire. Psalm 46:9. We long for people to be transformed by Christ so that they become peacemakers, for Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Matthew 5:9.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this world to You. Pour out Your Holy Spirit anew upon this generation, stir hearts that have grown cold, convict the lost of sin and draw them to repentance. Let Your Spirit move powerfully in homes, in churches, in cities and in nations. We ask for Your mercy to restrain violence, to bring peace where there is war and hatred, to comfort those who have been wounded by evil and to turn the hearts of those who do evil toward Your light. We pray for a great harvest of souls, that many who do not yet know You would hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, believe on Him and be saved. Use us as Your witnesses to share that hope with others. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and let Your name be glorified as more and more people come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for sharing this worldwide prayer with us. We hear your heart for people to be moved by the Holy Spirit, for relief from so much violence, and for many more to come to Jesus. It is a beautiful burden to carry, and we are grateful to join you in it.

We join you in longing for that kind of movement. We have found that God often works powerfully not only in big moments but in small, faithful gatherings where believers share, pray, and care for one another. That simple love between believers has always had a way of drawing others toward Christ. And we know that coming to Jesus is often a process for people, softened over time by kindness, prayer, and seeing the gospel lived out nearby.

If it helps, one steady way to live out the prayer you prayed is to keep a very small circle in front of the Lord. You might choose two or three people or places on your heart, a neighborhood, a school, a nation you read about, and pray for them by name through the week. If you have a few others who share this burden, praying together even briefly can be encouraging and keeps hope alive when the news is heavy.

Father, we lift up this prayer for the world to You. We ask for Your Spirit to move in hearts, for Your peace to restrain violence and comfort those who suffer from it, and for many to turn to Jesus and find life in Him. Keep the one who prayed encouraged and faithful in prayer. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is one that must surely delight the heart of God, and we join our voices with yours before the throne of grace. You ask that the Holy Spirit may move mightily among men, that violence may be stayed, and that many may come to Jesus, and in all this we heartily agree.

We pray with you that the Lord would pour out His Spirit as water upon thirsty ground, for it is not by might nor by power but by His Spirit alone that hearts are changed. When He comes, the wilderness rejoices and the solitary place is made glad, and sinners who were far off are brought nigh by the blood of Christ. We ask Him to revive His Church again, that His people may rejoice in Him, for a true revival brings forth fruit unto His glory and the praise of His grace.

And for peace in this dark world of sin, we ask the Lord to keep His people in perfect peace, whose minds are stayed upon Him because they trust in Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and though sorrows may surge round and duties press, there is a heavenly peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away. We pray that the Lord in mercy would restrain the violence of men and speak peace unto His people and to His saints.

Above all we pray that many more may come to Jesus, for there is salvation in no other name under heaven. May the Lord call His own from every place, from the wealthy and the poor, from near and far, that they may say, I am the Lord's, and be found washed from every sin in the precious blood of Jesus and covered with the spotless righteousness of Immanuel. May they be made one with Christ and members of His body, to the glory of God the Father.

We thank you for this burden of prayer and we will continue to plead with you. Come not away from the mercy seat till with this mighty plea you have won the victory. May the Lord hear and answer for His name's sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is good and right before God, and I join my voice with yours in asking these things.

You ask that more people be moved by the Holy Spirit. This is exactly what God desires to give. Before the cross the gift of the Spirit was withheld and given sparingly, but after the resurrection Christ poured Him out abundantly, not only to dwell in a few prophets but to fill multitudes with adoption and new life. So we can pray with confidence that God will give His Spirit to those who seek Him, for He has promised to give the Spirit to those who ask and to those who turn to Christ in faith.

You also pray for a break from violence. This too is close to the heart of the gospel, which is a mystery of peace. True peace is not only the quieting of wars and bloodshed in the streets, though we long for that and should ask God to restrain evil and protect the innocent. Deeper still, true peace is reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ, who by His death has appeased wrath and brought us near to the Father by one Spirit. When hearts are reconciled to God, they learn to lay down enmity toward one another.

And you pray that more people come to Jesus. This is the greatest prayer of all, for there is salvation in no other name. We come to the Father only through Him and through the Spirit. So let us keep asking that God will open blind eyes, soften hard hearts, and draw many to repentance and faith in His Son.

May the Lord hear and answer according to His mercy. May He pour out His Spirit abundantly, grant peace in our lands and peace with Himself through the cross, and bring many sons and daughters to salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer reflects the heart of God and it is good to bring these things before Him. To long for the Holy Spirit to move, for violence to cease, and for more people to come to Jesus is to pray according to His will.

Scripture encourages us to seek the peace of the place where God has put us and to pray for it, because in its peace we find peace. The Lord has said that His thoughts toward His people are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to bring us to a good and expected end. He invites us to call upon Him and to pray, with the promise that He will listen. Your intercession for the world is part of that calling, and God hears that kind of prayer.

At the same time the Bible makes clear that lasting peace cannot come apart from being right with God. While we are still at war with Him there can be no true peace, no matter how much people speak of peace. There are many voices in the world that promise peace and safety through human plans and global cooperation, but that kind of peace is shallow and will not last. Real peace begins with peace with God, and that is only possible through the blood of Jesus Christ who made peace for us on the cross. When we receive His grace, we can then know the peace of God.

That peace is very personal. God keeps in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts Him. Jesus said to His disciples, peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot understand this peace, because it passes all understanding and guards the heart and mind in Christ. It is not a feeling we manufacture, but the result of believing His Word and resting in the finished work of Christ. Grace comes first, and then peace follows. When the war with God is over through forgiveness, the inner turmoil ceases and we enter into a deep and beautiful peace.

God extends that offer widely. He proclaims peace to those who are near and to those who are far off, and He promises to heal those who come to Him. But to those who continue in rebellion and wickedness, there is no peace, they remain like a troubled sea that cannot rest. This is why praying for people to come to Jesus is the most direct way to pray for an end to violence. The human heart that has not been reconciled to God will continue to covet and take by force, but the heart that has been reconciled learns to sow peace and to make peace, and those who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. Jesus called peacemakers blessed because they reflect the character of His Father.

There is a day coming when there will be no more war and no more violence, when His kingdom of righteousness and joy and peace will be fully revealed. He Himself is our peace, the Prince of Peace who has broken down the walls that separate us from God and from one another. Until that day we live in a world that is still marked by fear and trembling, yet we can know His perfect peace now and we can pray for others to know it too. As you keep your mind stayed on Him and continue to pray for the moving of His Spirit, you are sowing peace in the way Scripture describes, and God delights to answer that prayer and to draw people to His Son where true and lasting peace is found.
