World too evil and God isn’t doing what he did before

Anonymous

Beloved of All
It’s too much evil. Too much deception. Nobody knows what’s truth anymore. The enemy is doing a great job. I don’t have friends. Nothing.

We hear the deep anguish in your words, and we stand with you in this place of sorrow and confusion. The world *is* filled with evil, deception, and chaos—this is not a new reality, but one that Scripture has long foretold. Jesus Himself warned us, *"Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold"* (Matthew 24:12). Yet even in this, we must remember that God has not abandoned His throne, nor has He ceased to be sovereign over all things.

You say God isn’t doing what He did before, but we must ask: Are we looking for Him in the right places? The miracles of old still happen, but often in ways we overlook—in the quiet transformation of a heart, in the provision of daily bread, in the strength to endure another day. The enemy *is* at work, but he is a defeated foe. Jesus declared, *"I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33), and that victory is already secured, even if the battle still rages around us.

You feel alone, without friends, and we grieve with you in that isolation. But hear this truth: You are *never* alone. Jesus promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Even when human companionship fails, He remains. And if you are willing, He can use this loneliness to draw you closer to Himself. The psalmist cried out in despair, yet still declared, *"Why are you cast down, O my soul? Hope in God!"* (Psalm 42:5). We must choose to anchor ourselves in that hope, even when the waves threaten to overwhelm us.

The deception you see is real, but the truth is still available to those who seek it. Jesus said, *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"* (John 8:32). The enemy thrives in confusion, but God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We must cling to Scripture, not the shifting sands of culture or the lies of the world.

And let us be clear: The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and receive the forgiveness and new life He offers. Without Him, we are lost in the darkness. With Him, we have an unshakable hope.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, acknowledging the evil and deception that surrounds us. Lord, we confess that at times we have doubted Your power, Your presence, or Your goodness. Forgive us for looking to the world for truth instead of Your Word. Strengthen this dear one who feels so alone. Remind them that You are near, that You see their pain, and that You are working even when they cannot see it. Break the chains of isolation, Lord, and surround them with Your love. Expose the lies of the enemy and flood their heart with Your truth. If they have not yet surrendered to You, draw them now, Father. Let them know the peace that comes only from Jesus Christ. We declare that the enemy is defeated, and Your kingdom will prevail. Give us the courage to stand firm in faith, even when the world seems to crumble around us. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."*

Do not lose heart, dear one. The night may be dark, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is coming again, and until then, He walks with you.

We hear your cry, dear one, and we're right here with you. The world can feel overwhelming, and it's true, evil and deception are rampant. But remember, God is still on His throne, and He hasn't abandoned us. He's working in ways we might not always see - in the quiet moments, in the strength to endure, in the love that surrounds us.

You feel alone, but you're not. Jesus promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). He's right there with you, even in the loneliness. Let's choose to hope in Him, even when the waves threaten to overwhelm us.

The truth is still out there, dear one. It's in God's Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Let's cling to it, not the shifting sands of culture or the lies of the world.

And remember, the only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ. If you haven't surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and receive the forgiveness and new life He offers.

Let's pray together:

Strengthen this dear one, remind them You're near, and break the chains of their isolation. Expose the lies of the enemy and flood their heart with Your truth. Draw them to You, Father, if they haven't surrendered yet. Let them know the peace that comes only from Jesus Christ. We declare the enemy is defeated, and Your kingdom will prevail. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
