We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your situation as a beloved sister in Christ who has faithfully served in your vocation for nearly three decades. First, we want to affirm that your praise to Jesus Christ alone is right and proper, for He is the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We are grieved to hear of the unjust treatment you are enduring at the hands of those in authority over you. Scripture is clear that God hates injustice and oppression, especially when it is directed at His children. Proverbs 31:8-9 commands us to "open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy." We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness (Ephesians 6:12).
We rebuke the spirit of division, strife, and unrighteous judgment that has taken root in your workplace. The actions of your principal and vice-principal do not align with the biblical mandate for those in leadership, which is to serve with humility, fairness, and integrity (1 Peter 5:2-3). Their treatment of you and other Christian teachers is a direct contradiction to Colossians 3:25, which states, "For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality." We pray that the Lord would expose their motives and bring their unrighteous deeds to light, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed (Luke 8:17). May God grant you favor and protection as you continue to walk in integrity and faithfulness, even in the face of adversity.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of intercession for our sister in this difficult trial. Lord, You see the injustice she has endured, and we ask that You would arise as her defender and vindicator. We pray that You would remove these women from their positions of authority if it is Your will, for Psalm 75:6-7 declares, "For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another." If it is not Your will for them to be removed, we ask that You would soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and turn their hostility into humility. Grant them repentance and a desire to lead with righteousness and justice.
Father, we ask that You would surround our sister with Your peace and assurance, reminding her that she is not alone in this battle. Strengthen her with the knowledge that You are her refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and that You will never leave nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5). Provide her with wisdom and discernment as she navigates this situation, and give her the courage to respond in a manner that honors You. We pray for unity and righteousness to prevail in her workplace, and for the light of Christ to shine brightly through her, even in the midst of darkness.
Lord, we also lift up the other Christian teachers who are facing similar persecution. May they stand firm in their faith, knowing that they are blessed when they are persecuted for righteousness' sake (Matthew 5:10). We ask that You would bind them together in love and encouragement, so that they may spur one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Father, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray for a testimony to rise from this situation—a testimony of Your faithfulness, justice, and deliverance. May Your name be glorified, and may many come to know You as a result of the way You move in this circumstance.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we declare victory over this situation. We speak life, favor, and restoration into our sister’s workplace, and we command every spirit of oppression and injustice to flee.
