Working it out at the workplace

I don't know why we(me included) are so surprised when we are attacked at work, or in an organization filled with folks who don't know Jesus. Why do we think it is going to be easy...we are soldiers for the Lord, we are on a battle field, it is not going to be a picnic, but it is not going to defeat us in the Name of Jesus. The Lord sends us into the darkest places to shine His light, and when you go into the dark places, you need to be prayed up, ready and prepared to do the job the Lord has blessed you with, Your boss is not your Pastor, and your coworker is not your prayer partner, you are not at church, you are in the war zone, you must put on your armor of God, get your protection, feed yourself with the word of God, put on Christ, sometimes the job you have is the same one another Christian had previously, and it is usually for the very reason the Lord sent you. Joseph worked in a jail and he had the strength to work hard, to stay close to God and he was promoted, it took a long time, but he was faithful and his faithfulness paid off. Talk about working with unsaved, he lived in a Pagan Nation, He was betrayed and sold by his own family, they put him to work and he got no wages, he was elevated to a higher position and sexually harrassed by his boss's wife, he helped a coworker and when it was his coworkers time to help, it took him 2 years to give a good referral, but Joseph was faithful and he got the best promotion ever!!!Only God could make all that suffering turn into something awesome!!!So guide your hearts guide your minds, don't allow the darkness to scare you or push you to act like those in darkness, because you are from the light, to show them the way to Jesus, It is never too late for the Lord to turn the situation around if you had shortcomings, you are of the light, you can ask God to forgive you, repent and turn back to God and ask the Lord what it is that He wants you to do. In the mean time do your job and do it as onto God, whenever you feel stressed say a little prayer in your head, Plead the blood of Jesus, instead of murmuring under your breath, praise the Lord, thank Him, Thank Him, forgive the person's who the enemy assigned to bring you to despair. Bless them, Bless them, and you will see a big difference. Ask the Lord to cleanse you from everything that is not of Him and seek Him Focus, be ready, prayed up and prepared to do that job the way You are supposed to, The enemy doesn't want you to complete your mission but the Lord gave you the assignment and He has the ultimate Power, He is teaching us how to be prepared, showing us our weaknesses, and making us ready for that great blessing, we must obey Him and hold on because He has great plans for us, no matter what the enemy tries to do to us, we belong to God, those people the enemy use to hurt you do not belong to God and the enemy does not want you to bring them over to the right side so he attacks you, but God will teach you in His word how to protect yourself, put on the armor of God, meditate on His word and do His will, I pray for all those who are struggling, you gotta know that He loves you and you will overcome this Brothers and Sisters, YOU WILL BE VICTORIOUS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!!!!

Amen after 4 years in a toxic workplace i totally understand now but the Lord brought me a miraculous victory all of a sudden and completely unexpectedly praise the Lord thank You Jesus God bless you for your posts

Thank you for the reminder! I have been preaching this to myself, others, and any who will listen for over a year or two and needed to hear it from another perspective. I am currently in the middle of a work-related trial that is beyond my ability and yet it affects my customers... Thank you again in Jesus' name...
