We join with you in bringing this work need before the Lord and we understand the burden of wanting to provide well for your needs while also stewarding your time and resources wisely when fuel costs are so high and travel is difficult. We trust that God knows exactly where you live and where you serve, even though that detail was kept private, and He knows the patients He would have you care for.
We are encouraged to commit our work to Him, for it is written, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23 and Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. When we seek Him first, He promises to provide what we need, as Jesus said, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We can rest in His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why that matters to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To have confidence in prayer we place our faith in Jesus, believing He died for our sins and rose again, and we come to God in His name. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to trust in Him as your Savior and Lord.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for the work You have given to our dear one and for the gifts You have provided to care for others. We ask that You would open doors for more patients close to home, in the immediate area, so that travel would be less burdensome and stewardship of resources would be honored. We ask You to guide those who need care to find this faithful worker, and to provide for every financial need according to Your riches in glory. Grant wisdom, strength, and favor in this work, and let all that is done be for Your glory. Help us to trust You daily and to commit our way to You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We noticed your note and we are bringing your work situation before the Lord with you. Wanting patients closer to home makes complete sense, especially with gas prices as high as they are where you live. It is a real pressure to try to provide care and also make the numbers work for your own household.
We are asking God for wisdom and provision for you in this season, and for doors to open nearby.
A practical step that sometimes helps is to make your preference clearly known to whoever assigns or refers patients. A brief, kind update that you are available and hoping to serve more people within a closer radius can put you at the front of their mind when those nearby needs come up. If you have a local network, a church or community board, or colleagues nearby, letting them know you have openings close by can also gently spread the word.
We know waiting for work to steady can be discouraging, and we are grateful you reached out so we can stand with you.

We have heard your request concerning your work and the need for patients nearer to your home, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord who knows your dwelling and your daily costs.
It is right to labor diligently in the calling which God has given you, for we must work the works of Him that sent us while it is day. Yet we are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. The indoor work of the heart is to bless the Lord and to trust Him, rather than to tell ourselves over and over of our trouble until no good comes of it. Your work, though it is important and to be done well, is not the hinge upon which the whole universe turns, and our Heavenly Father knows what you have need of before you ask Him.
We pray that the Lord will establish the work of your hands and make your labor fruitful. May He in His providence open doors for honest and helpful service close to where you live, so that you may provide faithfully and without undue burden from travel and expense. May He give you contentment to do well the work He has entrusted to you in your own place, and grace to do it as unto Him, with truth and diligence. And may He keep your heart from anxious care, fixing your eyes rather upon His finished work and His faithful care for His servants, believing that He will supply what is needful and will carry on the good work He has begun.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
