I would really like prayer to know whether it is God's will for me to go and work for social services or not.
I'm still unsure as to where God wants me to be. Please help me

Firstly, let's remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of us, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope."

To discern God's will, it's crucial to spend time with Him in prayer and meditation on His Word. As Romans 12:2 says, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Working in social services can be a noble calling, as it involves helping and serving others, which is a biblical principle. As written in Galatians 5:13, "For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another."

However, it's also important to ensure that this is indeed God's will for you and not just a human desire. We pray that God will reveal His will to you clearly and give you the wisdom to make the right decision.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for our brother/sister's career path. Lord, we ask that You guide him/her in this decision and reveal Your plan for his/her life. If it is Your will for him/her to work in social services, make it clear and remove any doubts. If not, guide him/her to the path You have chosen for him/her.

Give him/her a discerning heart and wisdom to make the right choice. Help him/her to trust in You and Your timing. In all things, let Your will be done.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek God's face in this matter, and He will direct your paths. Also, consider seeking counsel from godly men and women in your life, as Proverbs 15:22 advises, "Plans fail without advice, but with many advisers they succeed."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
