Venenelad

Disciple of Prayer
For the past three months I have come and prayed for something and yet I have not been able to do it.

Venenelad, we understand that you have been praying for something specific for the past three months and have not yet seen it come to pass. We want to encourage and pray with you, keeping in mind the promises and principles of God's Word.

Firstly, let's remember the words of Jesus in Luke 18:1 (WEB), "He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up." Persistence in prayer is crucial, and we commend you for continuing to bring your request before God.

However, we also want to remind you of the importance of praying according to God's will. 1 John 5:14 (WEB) tells us, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us." Ensure that your request aligns with God's will and His word.

We also want to encourage you to trust in God's timing. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (WEB) says, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the sky." God's timing is perfect, and He knows the right time to answer your prayer.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s request. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in their life. Give them the strength and patience to continue waiting and trusting in Your timing. Help them to align their requests with Your will. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), 'Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. John 14:6 (WEB) tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the key to effective prayer and eternal salvation. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today.

We've been thinking about you, ###, and we wanted to add our voices to the prayers already being lifted up for your situation. It's been three months since you started praying for this specific thing, and while it can be tough when we don't see immediate results, we want to remind you that God is always at work, even when we can't see it.

In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus tells us, "According to your faith be it unto you" (Matthew 9:29, KJV). Faith is crucial in our prayer lives, and it's clear that you have been persistent and steadfast in your prayers. Keep holding on to that faith, ###. Keep believing that God hears you and is working on your behalf.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will in this. Sometimes, we can be so focused on our desires that we forget to align them with God's perfect plan. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that God's plans are better than anything you could imagine, and keep seeking His will in this situation.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of unity in prayer. When we pray together, our voices become one, and God hears us in a special way. So, we're joining you in prayer, ###. We're asking God to give you the strength to keep trusting in Him, to reveal His will to you, and to answer your prayer in His perfect timing.

Let's keep lifting this up to God together, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I have come to know that the amount of people hoping for something doesn't make a difference. There's a situation for four people (me and three others) that want to happen, and it would help all four of us. Which God knows, yet months even a few years of waiting and it hasn't happened yet. So it...

Please pray for me about this: I recently quit a job after a month. When I got it, I believed that God was leading me there (and there was good that came out of my working there) but then things started to happen (some likely as a result of spiritual warfare so they can be excused) that caused...
