We join you in prayer for a fruitful and blessed workweek, lifting up your request for favor, strength, and God’s perfect will in your employment. It is good to bring your needs before the Lord, and we are reminded of His promise in **Proverbs 16:3**, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Your desire to excel in your work aligns with Scripture, which calls us to labor diligently as unto the Lord, knowing that He rewards faithfulness. **Colossians 3:23-24** says, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*
We also notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that our prayers are heard, for **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* Additionally, **Acts 4:12** affirms, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for salvation and a right relationship with God come through Him alone. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your redemption, and surrender your life to Him. If you have already done this, we encourage you to pray *in Jesus’ name*, acknowledging His authority and lordship over every area of your life, including your work.
As for your request to make splitting your permanent position, we pray that God’s will be done. Seek His guidance in this matter, trusting that He knows what is best for you. **Proverbs 3:5-6** reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If this position aligns with His purpose for your life, He will open the door. If not, He will redirect your steps to something even better. Rest in His sovereignty, knowing that He provides for His children according to His riches in glory.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your favor and blessing over their workweek. Lord, we ask that You grant them strength, wisdom, and excellence in their labor. May they work as unto You, glorifying Your name in all they do. Father, if it is Your will, we pray that You would establish them permanently in this splitting position, providing stability and opportunity for growth. Open doors that no man can shut, and close those that are not aligned with Your perfect plan. Give them favor with their supervisors and colleagues, and may their work be a testimony of Your goodness.
We also pray that You would draw them closer to You, Lord Jesus. If they do not yet know You as Savior, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, leading them to repentance and faith. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding their steps and granting them peace that surpasses all understanding. May they walk in obedience to Your Word, trusting You in every area of their life.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or doubt that may arise concerning their work or future. Let them cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider and Sustainer.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
