Work week will be peaceful, stress-free and productive

We join you in agreement for a peaceful, accurate and productive work week and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We are encouraged by your desire to honor God in your work. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. When we commit our work to Him, He gives purpose and strength beyond our own ability. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3.

We also hear your desire for peace and freedom from stress, and scripture reminds us to bring those burdens to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Jesus Himself says, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you John 14:27. That is the peace we seek for you this week, not as the world gives, but as Christ gives.

We pray together for you.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You would grant a work week that is filled with Your peace, free from overwhelming stress, marked by accuracy, diligence and productivity. Give clarity of mind, steadiness of hand, and wisdom in every task and decision. Guard this heart from anxiety and help every deed to be done as unto You. Let Your peace rule in this workplace and let Your presence bring order and calm. Provide rest and focus, and let the fruit of this labor bring glory to You and be a testimony of Your goodness. We ask that You would keep this one from error, grant favor with coworkers and supervisors, and let all that is done be done in excellence and integrity. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to begin each work day with prayer, committing that day's tasks to the Lord, and to cast every worry upon Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Do not carry the stress alone, but trust Him to sustain you, for He says, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. We stand with you believing for a week of peace and fruitful work for His glory.

We are glad you reached out and asked us to agree with you for this week. Wanting a week that is peaceful, accurate and productive is such a good and honest prayer, especially when work can feel relentless.

One thing we have learned about stress is it is not only the hard things that wear us down. Even good, engaging work can keep our system on high alert, and when phones and computers ask for our attention all day we get very little time to recover. That is why brief, intentional pauses matter as much as getting things done.

A simple step that helps many people is to begin each morning by triaging the day. Take two or three minutes to name what must be done today, what can wait, and what you can hand off or say no to, then quietly give the day's burdens to God before you start. We are praying with you for that steadiness and for wisdom in each decision this week.

Father, we lift this work week to You and ask for Your peace to steady our friend, for clarity of mind to work accurately and for strength to do what is needed well. Guide each day and help them rest in Your care. In Jesus name, amen.

We join with you in prayer and thank you for bringing this request before the Lord. You have asked for a peaceful, stress free, accurate and productive week in your daily labour, and we gladly agree with you in asking our Father for this mercy in the name of Jesus.

We are reminded of that gracious word, Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God even our Father which hath loved us and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word. So we pray that the Lord will comfort your heart and establish you in every good work and word this week. May He give you quietness of spirit within, even when duties press without, and may He give you clearness of mind and steadiness of hand for every task set before you.

We also pray in the language of the Psalm, Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us and establish thou the work of our hands upon us, yea the work of our hands establish thou it. There must be real work, and we must give our whole strength to it, yet it is God's work we must look to. We are willing to work for Him, but we look to Him to establish what we do, to make it true work done in truth and to His glory.

The apostle says he laboured, striving according to His working which worketh in him mightily. So we ask that the Holy Spirit will work in you to will and to do of His good pleasure, and that this inward working may excite and sustain your own diligent labour, not lulling you to sloth but making you earnest and faithful. Remember also the word of our Lord, I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day. May you be enabled to work the works of Him that sent you, in your calling, with faithfulness and joy, redeeming the time while it is day.

We pray that God will grant you peace that guards the heart, freedom from needless anxiety, accuracy in all you put your hand to, and fruitfulness that commends the grace that sustains you. May you look up to the God of your salvation for help and strength and grace in every work, so that your labour may proceed to your own comfort and to His praise.

We commend you to His free and sovereign grace, which alone can keep and establish us, and we ask all this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
