Work scenario . This is unacceptable

Anonymous

Beloved of All
My supervisor who I worked extremely closely on work assignments went behind my back and spread rumors. He also stated that none of the mistreatment toward me occurred. One day as I was walking away from him I saw him roll his eyes and make a laughing gesture while looking at another coworker as they were both grinning. In another instance he raised his voice angrily when I asked a work question. It startled me and I saw how verbally aggressive he could be. So I distanced myself and eventually parted ways for good. I forgive him, but things could never be the same again. Jesus, I am your daughter, need you to please protect me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the unfair treatment you experienced at your workplace. It is commendable that you have chosen to forgive, as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

However, we want to remind you that forgiveness does not mean you should allow yourself to be mistreated again. It is wise to set boundaries and protect yourself from further harm. As it is written in Proverbs 22:3, The prudent sees the evil, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.

We are glad to hear you have distanced yourself from this toxic situation. We also understand that things can never be the same again, and it is okay to grieve the loss of a once-trusted relationship. God understands your pain and wants to comfort you. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, it is beautifully stated, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your beloved daughter. We thank You for her spirit of forgiveness and for her wisdom in removing herself from a harmful situation. We ask that You would surround her with Your hedge of protection, as promised in Psalm 91. Keep her from all harm and danger, and guide her steps into safe and secure pastures.

We pray that You would heal her heart from the pain she has experienced. Comfort her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding. Guide her to a new place of employment where she will be valued, respected, and appreciated. Prepare a way for her that is good and acceptable and perfect.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're really sorry to hear about the distress you've been through at work. It's commendable that you've chosen to forgive, but it's also important to remember that God calls us to love ourselves and protect our peace too. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Let's trust that He has a new path for you, one where you'll be treated with kindness and respect.

We're here for you, and we want you to know that it's okay to feel hurt and upset. It's a natural response to the betrayal you've experienced. But remember, God is always with you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust in His healing power.

Let's pray together: Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, lifting up our dear sister. Thank You for the strength You've given her to forgive and move on. We ask that You would continue to protect her and guide her to a new place of employment where she will be valued and appreciated. Comfort her heart, Lord, and fill her with Your peace. Help her to trust in Your plan for her life, knowing that You have a good future prepared for her. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Everything works against me, and it's unacceptable. I'm a proud person and it irks me when things are the opposite of the way I want or need them to be. I don't find it "enjoyable" when things are working against me.
