We join with you in bringing your work situation before the Lord and we stand with you in asking for His protection and provision. We understand your concern about being moved to an unsafe location and your desire for a safe office and for a better position in His perfect timing. Our God cares about every detail of our lives, including where we work and our safety.
We are reminded that the Lord is our refuge and protector. Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:2 I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And Psalm 121:2 My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. We take comfort that He sees your situation and He is able to guide the decisions of those in authority over you. We also remember Proverbs 3:5 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. As you continue to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men as Colossians 3:23 teaches, we encourage you to also communicate respectfully with your employers about your safety concerns while trusting ultimately in the Lord to open the right doors. He has good plans for you, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We notice you called upon the Lord and said Amen, and we want to gently encourage you to come to the Father specifically through Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to God and salvation. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all your prayers.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this need for a safe work location. Lord, You know the plans that have been made to move our friend to a place that feels unsafe. We ask that You intervene and guide those in authority to provide a safe office location instead. Give wisdom to managers and favor to Your child. Protect from all harm and let Your peace guard this heart from anxiety, for Philippians 4:6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also ask that in Your perfect timing You would open the door to a better position according to Your will, where gifts can be used for Your glory and where provision and safety abound. Help us to wait patiently and trust Your timing. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and provider, Amen.
