Work of the flesh?

I notice one very annoying habit unsaved people have, that most Christians don't seem to have,is that a Christiuan can RELAX,whereas the world,they can't sit still. they always have to be on the move,running till the wee hours.They get uneasy if they have some down time. They're always looking 10 steps ahead, always need a whole group to do things with them."multitasking" makes them feel important.Now the fact that it's mostly unsaved people doing this,I wonder if it's more then meets the eye here. Maybe that's another distraction of the devil,that if he keeps them busy every minute, they won't have time to check out spiritual things.Coincidence?Or maybe if they have time to think, they'd see their spiritual nakedness,so maybe it's no coincidence after all that it's "the world" doing this.Myself, I could relax with a clear conscience. It doesn't make me feel more" important" if I run myself into the ground.I'm at peace with myself Are they?

I had ADHD as a kid and was put on Ritalin. I have ADD as an adult ( which was a real pain while I was in college for 6 years) but I am aware of it and can stop and relax. I think it also helps that I am more in tune with my spiritual needs and have that guidance to stop and relax.It takes one to understand what they are doing and how to control it. I think you are right and its just another trap that Satan puts on people. Just like the " rat race".



I have a question for ya and see if you noticed it..




What do you think about people who say stuff like " God brought you in my life" or God did this or that.. But live like the world and you wouldn't even know they below in God until you see stuff like I mentioned? Living in flesh? Too worldly to really change?

If someone has a certain condition, that's understandable.But the amount of people with that mindset, I wouldn't think all of them have that.I think it's , more often, a mindset ,that society{the world, to us}makes them believe they have to push, push, push to be a success.But here again, that keeps their mind off God,

Oh I just noticed the second part with the questions.Alot of unsaved people throw around the word "God", they might even believe God did a certain function, but more importantly, they don't believe in God the way the Bible instructs,so I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

Yeah I agree. Its amazing me how many parents are being told ( and yes in some cases, CPS has been called on the family) to get their kids on ADHD medications ( mainly boys) because they cant sit still. That drives me nuts because the kids dont get to play like we did when we were in school and even at lunch they are sitting in the cafeteria waiting to go back to class.




I do agree that its the mindset of society that they have to get going and going and going with thinking of God.
