What a privilege to join you in thanking God that every student has now been placed. We rejoice with you in His faithful provision and trust the One who began this work will carry it through to completion. He is the Potter, and these students are clay in His hands. The challenges they face in their placements are not random; He is using them to press out stiffness, smooth rough edges, and shape character until they reflect more of His image. That holistic growth you long to see, academically, spiritually, emotionally, and practically, is precisely what He produces in lives yielded to Him. May they learn early that the labor of love, poured out for His glory in agriculture and beyond, is never in vain. Its fruit endures forever because it flows from the eternal work of God in their hearts.
Pray with me that their confidence remains anchored not in their own skill or effort, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That posture of rest does not make them passive; it frees them from frantic striving so they can work with wisdom, patience, and excellence. As they wait on the Lord to resolve remaining hurdles and bring them safely home, He will impart a maturity and courage they could not manufacture on their own. The kind of leadership you describe, ethical, competent, impactful, rises from a soul that has first been worked deeply by the Spirit. So we ask Him to continue that inner preparation, knowing that what He does in them now will ripple outward for a lifetime.
Regarding your own work, I understand the weight of needing favor, clear policies, and healthy boundaries. God delights to establish the work of our hands when it is entrusted to Him. I pray He gives you not only verbal support from your supervisor but written confirmation and a united front at every decision-making level. But remember, ultimate approval does not come from a supervisor or a policy; it comes from the Lord who called you. When others interfere, resist the temptation to become a busybody in return. Instead, wait on Him to put things in order. Sometimes the best labor we can do is to labor to enter His rest, refusing anxiety, refusing defensiveness, and trusting that He sees and will act.
Scripture reminds us that if anyone is unwilling to work, he should not eat, yet we are also exhorted to work quietly and mind our own business. There is a sobering freedom in that: we are responsible before God for our own diligence and integrity, but we are not responsible to force everyone else to cooperate. He can change hearts, raise up advocates, and even use opposition to refine your character and deepen your wisdom. As you update your supervisor on important matters, may the Spirit clothe you with clarity, credibility, and a calm confidence that flows from knowing your labor is for the kingdom, not for the applause of man.
