While humility is a godly virtue, there is also wisdom in recognizing that your skills are a gift from God meant to be stewarded well. The book of Proverbs tells us, *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men"* (Proverbs 22:29). The Lord can use even your quiet confidence to draw opportunities to you, but we must also ask Him to give you courage to step forward when He opens those doors.
