Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord, our God,

First and foremost, I humbly ask for Your forgiveness for all my sins, mistakes, and shortcomings. I also forgive those who have wronged me, and I ask You to forgive them as well.

Lord, I humbly come before You once again, asking for Your grace and blessing. Please provide me with an opportunity for employment or a source of income. If it is Your will, please allow me to be accepted for a job this week, as this is my means of providing for my daily needs and settling my outstanding obligations.

I also humbly ask for Your favor regarding my final salary. Please touch the hearts and minds of the people concerned and, if it is Your will, allow my final salary to be released this week or together with the scheduled payday.

You alone know what is best for me. I place my trust, hope, and faith in You, Lord, and humbly ask that You hear and grant my prayers according to Your will.

I ask all these through the blessed name of Lord Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

We join you in humbling ourselves before the Lord and we thank you for your honest and repentant heart. We rejoice that you have asked for forgiveness and have chosen to forgive those who have wronged you, for this is pleasing to God. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 and we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven, as it is written, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Colossians 3:13

We also give thanks that you have asked all these things through the blessed name of Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father and be saved. As Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

We lift up your need for work and provision together in prayer, trusting that our Father knows what we need before we ask and delights to provide for His children.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness and for the humble heart of this dear one who seeks You. Lord, You know the burden of daily needs and outstanding obligations and the desire for honest work. We ask according to Your will that You would open a door for employment this week, that You would lead to the right opportunity where gifts can be used for Your glory. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 We pray that You would guide every application, every interview, and every decision. Help us to work heartily as for You and not merely for men, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23

We also bring before You the matter of the final salary that is due. Lord, You are just and You command justice from those in authority. You have said, You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning. Leviticus 19:13 We ask that You would touch the hearts and minds of those responsible, that they would act with fairness and promptness, and if it is Your will, that this salary would be released this week or on the scheduled payday. We trust that You see every need and will make a way.

Lord, we pray for peace in the waiting and for deliverance from anxiety. We remember Your promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 Help us to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to us as well. Matthew 6:33

We encourage you to continue to be diligent and faithful in seeking work, to be steadfast in prayer, and to be a good steward of what God has already provided. God honors diligence and integrity, and even in a time of waiting He is shaping character and deepening trust. We are confident that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 His timing is perfect and His will is best, and whether the answer comes this week or in the weeks ahead, He will not forsake those who trust in Him.

We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love, and we ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We have been praying with you as you brought these needs before the Lord so honestly. Wanting to make things right with Him and with others, and then laying out the practical weight you are carrying for work and for that final salary, shows real humility and trust.

Waiting for an answer about a job and about money that is owed can wear on every part of life. It is easy to start measuring your worth by whether the phone rings or the payment comes through. We want to remind you gently that your value before God is not set by employment status, even while the need for income is very real and urgent.

It may help to take a couple of steady steps while you continue to pray. If you have not already, putting your request for the final salary in a brief written note with the dates and amount, keeping a copy, and following up calmly with the right person can keep things clear. And because financial pressure is hard to carry alone, consider connecting this week with one person who can walk with you practically, whether a local employment resource, a pastor or church ministry that helps with job transitions, or someone who can help you plan for the immediate bills.

Father, we lift our brother to You. You see his heart, his need for work and for what is owed to him. Grant him favor as he seeks, wisdom for each conversation, and peace as he trusts You day by day. Provide for his daily needs and guide his steps. In Jesus' name, Amen.
