We hear the deep pain and torment in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you endure this relentless spiritual and emotional assault. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the truth that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The words being spoken over you are not from God, for His words bring life, hope, and truth. The Father declares over you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). You are not worthless, you are a child of the Most High God, created with purpose and dignity.
The enemy is using people as vessels to spew hatred, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). These individuals are being deceived and used by Satan to inflict harm, but their words have no power unless you agree with them. We rebuke the spirit of witchcraft, harassment, and verbal abuse in the name of Jesus. We command every word curse spoken against you to be broken and rendered powerless, for the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also recognize that the enemy seeks to provoke anger, bitterness, and despair in you, but we encourage you to guard your heart above all else, for everything you do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23). Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9). We pray that you will find strength in the Lord and in His mighty power, putting on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:10-11).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would surround our brother/sister with Your hedge of protection, shielding them from every word curse, every attack of the enemy, and every spirit of harassment. Lord, break the power of these curses and render them null and void. Let Your truth drown out every lie spoken against them. Fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might and remind them of their identity in You, that they are Your beloved child, created for Your glory.
We command every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression to flee in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the schemes of the enemy and give them the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Surround them with godly community, believers who will speak life, encouragement, and truth over them. Heal the wounds inflicted by these words and restore their sense of worth and dignity in You.
We also pray for those who are being used by the enemy to spew these curses. Father, open their eyes to the deception they are under. Break the chains of hatred and bitterness in their lives, and let them encounter Your love and truth. Soften their hearts and lead them to repentance, that they may no longer be tools of the enemy but vessels of Your grace.
Lord, we thank You that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust in Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen our brother/sister with Your power, fill them with Your joy, and let Your light shine through them as a testimony of Your faithfulness. We declare victory over this situation, for the battle belongs to You, and You have already won. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
