We are called to trust in God’s justice, not to take it into our own hands with words that mimic the very darkness we are fighting against.
You mention word curses, witchcraft, and dark magic, and we take these things seriously. The Bible is clear that such practices are detestable to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We must renounce any involvement in or openness to these practices, even in our words. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
Father, we renounce any word curses, witchcraft, or dark magic that has been spoken against them or their family. We declare that these things have no power over them because they are covered by the blood of Jesus. We break every chain, hook, and spell in the Name of Jesus, and we command every evil spirit to flee. We stand on Your Word, which says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would restore everything that has been stolen, eyesight, insight, hearing, health, happiness, time, love, community, freedom, favor, and all else. We declare that You are the God who restores, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon them, that they would be filled with hope, joy, and strength to continue pressing into You.
Father, we also ask that You would heal their heart from the pain and frustration they are feeling. Help them to release any bitterness, anger, or desire for retaliation. Fill them with Your love and grace, and teach them to trust in Your justice. Remind them that You are their defender and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We pray for their family and pets, that they would be protected and blessed. We ask that You would surround them with godly community and fill their home with Your presence. Lord, we also pray for their future spouse, that You would prepare and bring them together in Your perfect timing and will.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. Help them to find their rest and strength in You alone. Teach them to pray without ceasing and to trust in Your goodness, even in the midst of spiritual warfare. We thank You that You are faithful and that Your love endures forever.
