Thank you for letting us share this burden with you. We are praying for you and your home, and we understand how heavy the worry of foreclosure can feel when the place that should be a place of security and love feels uncertain.
A home is a great blessing from God, and He sees the financial hardship you are facing. Scripture shows us that even among the early believers there were seasons of deep financial distress, and God moved on the hearts of others to share and to help bear those burdens. He cares about these practical needs, and He invites us to bring them to Him with thanksgiving for the provision He has already given and with trust for what is still needed.
We also want to encourage you with the greatest provision God has made. Like the people of Israel who were healed simply by looking in faith at what God had lifted up in the wilderness, God has provided the way for us to live through faith in Jesus Christ. Our deepest need is not only for a house to be kept, but for our hearts to be made new. Jesus taught that we must be born again, not by our own efforts or by keeping rules, but by believing in Him and receiving the forgiveness He alone provides. That new birth is God's gift, and when we look to Jesus in faith we have the assurance of eternal life. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Him, we pray you will do so today, and if you have, we pray you will rest in His keeping power.
The Bible reminds us that God is able to keep us from falling and to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think. We are kept by His power, and we are also called to keep ourselves in His love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even in the law God made provision for what seemed impossible, like the cleansing of a disease no one could cure, to show that He always leaves room to work according to His will. Nothing is beyond His ability to help, and we can give Him the opportunity to work in ways we cannot explain.
So we are praying that God, according to His wisdom and mercy, will provide good news regarding your home, that He will open doors for help, give you wisdom for every decision and conversation ahead, and grant you peace as you trust Him. We pray He will supply what you need, sustain you day by day, and draw you closer to Himself through this trial.
Father, we lift this family and this home to You. You know the need and the fear that comes with it. We ask for Your mercy and provision, for favor where decisions are being made, and for wisdom and resources to keep this home if it is Your will. Above all, we ask that each heart in this home would look to Jesus and live, be born again by faith in Him, and be kept in Your love. Let Your peace guard them and let Your will be done. In Jesus name, Amen.
