We join together with you in prayer for you and your home, asking our Heavenly Father to have mercy and to provide for you in this time of great burden and worry.
We know how heavy the fear of losing a home can be, and we bring this need before the Lord who sees your situation and cares for you. We pray that He would open doors for good news regarding your home and that if it is His will, He would make a way for you to keep it. We remember the promise in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And we cling to Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We also hear in your request a desire for good news, and we pray with you for favor with your lender and for wisdom for all those making decisions concerning your home. We pray that God would grant you wisdom and diligence as stewards of what He has entrusted to you, and that you would seek godly counsel and act faithfully in communication and responsibility. We are reminded in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We want to gently share with you that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we desire that you know the joy and confidence of coming to God through Him. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name not only for this need but for the salvation of your soul. When we pray in Jesus' name, we come under His authority and grace.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift up this family and their home to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know their need, their fears, and their hope for good news. We ask for Your mercy and provision, that You would intervene in this foreclosure situation according to Your perfect will. Grant favor, grant wisdom to make the right decisions, and provide for every need. Help them to trust You even in uncertainty, remembering Your promise in Hebrews 13:5, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Give them peace that passes understanding, help them to be diligent and faithful stewards, and let them see Your hand at work. Above all, draw them closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord and find their ultimate security not in a house, but in You. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus. Your request concerning your home has been brought before the Lord with sincere prayer, and we join our hearts with yours in asking for His mercy and provision.
We know that every earthly home is held in the hand of Him who went about doing good, and who still shows compassion to those who call upon Him. The Scripture reminds us that except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it, and so we look not first to banks or courts or circumstances, but to our Father in heaven who knows your need and hears the cry of His people.
We have prayed that the Lord in His providence would grant you good news regarding your home, that if it be His gracious will you may be kept from foreclosure and be able to remain under your own roof. We have asked that He would supply what is needed according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, that He would grant wisdom to you and to all who have influence over these affairs, and that He would give you peace in the midst of this trial.
Take this burden to the throne of grace daily, and cast all your care upon Him for He careth for you. Be diligent in that which your hand findeth to do, be faithful as stewards of what He has entrusted to you, and seek godly counsel in these temporal matters. Above all, remember the words, Go home to thy friends and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, for whether He grants this temporal deliverance or calls you to another path, His goodness and compassion remain and He will make a way for those who trust in Him.
May the Lord grant you faith to rest in Christ alone, who is our true and everlasting home, and may He in His kindness preserve your dwelling and give you testimony to speak of His mercy.
