We rejoice with you in this beautiful opportunity to gather as sisters in Christ for fellowship, encouragement, and the sharing of God’s Word. It is a blessing to see women coming together—not only to enjoy one another’s company but also to hear the truth of Scripture proclaimed to both believers and those who may not yet know the Lord. How wonderful that this event is being prepared with such care, from the food and decorations to the heart behind it all.
We lift up the guest speakers before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord would fill them with His Holy Spirit, granting them wisdom, boldness, and clarity as they share His Word. May their messages be anointed, piercing hearts with conviction, comfort, and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As it is written in **2 Timothy 4:2**, *"Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching."* May every word spoken align with Scripture, bringing glory to God and drawing souls closer to Him. We pray that non-believers in attendance would hear the Gospel with open hearts, that the Lord would soften their spirits to receive the truth, and that this gathering would be a divine appointment for salvation for some. **"So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"** (*Romans 10:17*).
For the women attending, we ask that the Lord would prepare their hearts to receive His Word with joy and humility. May this time be a refreshing balm to their souls, a reminder of their worth in Christ, and an encouragement to walk in faith and obedience. Let the food and drinks be a delight, but even more, let the spiritual nourishment they receive be what sustains them long after the event. **"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth"** (*Matthew 4:4*).
We also lift up the women’s committee who have labored so diligently to organize this event. May the Lord strengthen their hands, grant them creativity, and fill them with His peace as they serve. Let every detail—from the flowers to the tables—reflect the beauty of Christ and the love He has placed in their hearts for one another. **"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"** (*Colossians 3:23*). We pray that as they serve, they would do so with gladness, knowing that their labor in the Lord is never in vain. And when the day is done, may they experience the deep satisfaction of having honored God with their efforts.
Most of all, we pray that the Holy Spirit would move mightily among you all. May His presence be tangible, His voice clear, and His love overwhelming. Let this gathering be marked by unity, worship, and a hunger for more of Jesus. **"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them"** (*Matthew 18:20*). May this morning tea be far more than a social event—may it be a holy moment where lives are changed, faith is strengthened, and God is glorified.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of gathering in Your name. We ask that You would bless this women’s morning tea beyond measure. Let Your Word go forth with power, let Your Spirit move freely, and let Your love be the fragrance that lingers long after the last cup is emptied. May every woman who attends leave with a deeper knowledge of You, a renewed passion for Your kingdom, and a heart full of gratitude. We pray all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. **Amen.**
