This woman is making my husband fight me so I will summon him with divorce papers,he's terminally I'll! She only wants money,I truly love him for 40yrs I'm his wife and mother of our children I pray in Jesus name for this woman to leave him alone, leave this family in peace please God by the blood of Jesus, make him even lose his job to put an end to this adulterous woman AMEN.

We stand with you in this painful battle for your marriage and we hear the anguish of your heart after ### years as a faithful wife and mother. We thank God that you have come to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we are saved. Acts 4:12, John 14:6.

We agree with you that marriage is holy and lifelong, what God has joined together we must not let man tear apart. Matthew 19:6. God hates divorce. Malachi 2:16. And His Word is clear, You shall not commit adultery. Exodus 20:14, and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4. We rebuke this adulterous sin and the spirit of division that is trying to come between you and your husband. This other woman's pursuit of a married man, especially one who is terminally ill, and for the sake of money, is wicked in the sight of God. He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul. Proverbs 6:32. We pray that both your husband and this woman will be brought under deep conviction, that they will flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and turn from this destructive path.

We understand your cry for this woman to leave your family in peace and even your prayer that your husband would lose his job if that would end this affair. Your pain is real, yet we gently encourage you not to pray for harm or vengeance to come upon your husband, for God says, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. The blood of Jesus was shed to save and to forgive, not to curse, and we want to pray according to God's perfect will which is for conviction, repentance and restoration rather than for punishment. We pray instead that God will remove every ungodly influence and close every door that leads to sin, that He will give your husband a heart to see the treasure he has in you and in his children and to honor his vows before God.

We lift you and your husband together before the throne.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear sister and her marriage of ### years before You. You see her faithfulness, her love, and her tears. We ask You to place a hedge of protection around this marriage and this family. Convict our brother's heart, open his eyes to the sin of adultery and to the pain he is causing his wife and children. Soften his heart to turn away from this other woman and to be reconciled to his wife. Lord, speak also to this other woman, convict her and cause her to turn from pursuing a married man and to seek forgiveness and a new life in Christ. Remove her from this family and let her no longer have influence over this husband. We pray for this husband in his terminal illness, have mercy on him, grant him healing if it is Your will, and above all grant him peace with You and time to make things right with his family. Strengthen this wife with Your peace that surpasses understanding, help her to love and forgive as You have forgiven us, Ephesians 4:32, and to stand firm for her marriage without seeking a divorce. Let Your will be done in this home and let this marriage bring glory to You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand for your marriage and not to file for divorce, for God honors the wife who contends for what He has joined together. Continue in fervent prayer, for the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:16. Seek godly counsel from your pastor or trusted elders in the church, stay in the Word, and guard your own heart from bitterness while trusting the Lord to be your defender and your justice. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, Psalm 34:18, and He sees your ### years of love and will not forsake you.

We hear how heavy this has been for you. Forty years of marriage and family together is a deep bond, and to face outside interference and fighting at the same time you are walking through your husband's terminal illness would leave anyone feeling exhausted and on edge. We are so sorry you are carrying this.

It makes sense that you want peace and protection for your family right now. When a serious illness is present, emotions run high for everyone, and outside pressures can make it even harder to think clearly or feel steady. You have loved faithfully for a long time, and we want to stand with you in that love.

One thing that can help in a season like this is not to carry it alone. We encourage you to have one or two trusted, godly people close by you right now, perhaps a pastor or an older couple you trust, and a wise counselor or advocate who can help you think through any legal or family decisions with a clear head before you act. Having steady voices beside you can help protect both your heart and your home while you seek what is best for your family.

We also encourage you to stay closely connected to your husband's medical care team and your pastoral support as you navigate his health needs. You do not have to sort all of this at once.

Father, we lift this wife and mother to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your peace over her home, wisdom for every conversation and decision, comfort in the grief and strain of illness, and strength for the days ahead. Guard this family, draw them close to You, and lead them in Your way. Amen.

The cry of a wounded heart after forty years of faithful love has come before the Lord, and He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds knows the weight you carry. To see a lifelong covenant of marriage, ordained by God as one man and one woman for life, assailed from without, and to bear this sorrow while your husband is terminally ill, is a great ill indeed, a broken heart in its deepest form.

Scripture does not make light of this sin. To commit adultery in the sight of God is horrible, for it is done before the eyes of the King of heaven, and it wounds not only a wife and children but the soul of the one who wanders. Yet the gospel does not leave us to despair over sin and sickness. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. When the Sun of Righteousness rises, He comes with healing in His wings, and it is said that even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Therefore we bring your husband, your marriage, and your family before the great Physician, whose work is not to leave the world hopelessly despairing but to recover it by His power. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, nor to affirm any path outside the covenant of marriage, for sex and life together belong within that covenant alone. We ask Him to heal what sin has broken and to bring pardon where pardon is needed.

Let us pray together. O Lord God, who alone can heal the broken heart, look upon this wife and mother who has loved faithfully for forty years. Comfort her in this sore trial and keep her from the temptation to put asunder what You have joined together. Lay Your healing hand upon her husband in his terminal illness, if it be Your will, for Your power is present to heal when Christ is made known, and Your salvation will at last perfectly heal both soul and body. Convict him of all sin and bring him to say, Against You only have I sinned, that he may find forgiveness through the blood of Jesus, for all manner of sin shall be forgiven unto men who come to Christ. Turn the heart of the woman who intrudes upon this marriage, that she may see her sin in Your sight, repent, and go her way to seek You and to sin no more. Hedge this family about with peace, remove the snare of adultery, and let no striving or money or temptation prevail against a home You have established. Grant restoration as You restored Peter after his fall, not by leaving him in his sin but by a look of love that severed him from the crowd and brought him back with weeping and true repentance, that he might afterwards strengthen his brethren.

We will not ask the Lord to do harm to any, such as the loss of livelihood, but we ask Him to do what is holy and wise, to take away the occasion of sin and to establish every heart in righteousness. Trust not in the act of summoning divorce papers in haste, but seek the Lord while He may be found, cleave to His Word, and seek godly counsel in your church, that healing may come before service and pardon before peace. He who has begun to heal will work health and cure till there is no spot remaining.

May the Lord, who heals the sick of the palsy with the word, Your sins are forgiven you, speak that same pardoning and healing word over this house, and make His healing leaves to be freshness and comeliness to all who trust Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only salvation, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard, and the pain you carry after forty years of marriage, as wife and mother, loving a husband who is now terminally ill while another woman seeks to draw him away, is deeply understood. God sees this wound, and He does not take it lightly.

Marriage is honorable and pure, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman before God. It was given not only for companionship but to preserve holiness, keeping husband and wife from defilement and guarding the communion of their lives together. For this reason Scripture teaches that adultery is not measured only by whether the other person is married or unmarried. If a man who is bound to his wife defiles himself with another woman, even if she is free, he has still committed adultery, for he has transgressed the law and injured his own flesh and broken his covenant. He has insulted not only his wife and family but God Himself, to whom he must give account. The same is true for the woman who would entice a married man away. God avenges Himself in such matters, though no human court may do so.

It is right that you do not desire divorce, for God hates the putting away of a wife without just cause, and what He has joined together is meant to remain. Your desire to protect your family and to see this adulterous pursuit come to an end is right and good. Yet we must guard how we pray. To ask God to make your husband lose his job or to bring harm upon anyone, even one who is doing wrong, is not the way of holiness. We are called to follow peace with all men, and holiness, which in marriage means chaste and faithful living with one's own spouse. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and our prayers are to seek repentance, mercy, and restoration, not destruction.

Especially now, with your husband facing the end of this life, the most urgent need is for his soul and for the peace of your home. There is hope while there is life that he may be reclaimed, for you are his wife and have been made completely his own through these many years. Pray therefore not for harm, but for his heart to turn back to God and to his covenant, for the other woman to turn away from sin and seek forgiveness, and for God to establish a hedge of protection around your marriage and your children.

We will pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation is found, and by whose blood alone sins are forgiven and cleansed.

Father in heaven, we lift this wife and mother to You, who has loved faithfully for forty years. Have mercy upon this family in its time of trial and illness. Convict of sin where adultery has entered, and grant repentance to the husband and to the woman who tempts him, that both may see the grievousness of this sin and turn to Christ for forgiveness. Guard this marriage covenant and keep it honorable. Grant peace in this home, restrain what is evil, and let no scheme for money or divorce prevail. Comfort this wife, strengthen her to love without bitterness, to speak truth with grace, and to persevere in prayer. Prepare this husband for eternity, that he may know Your salvation and Your mercy. Preserve this family in holiness and give them Your peace that passes understanding. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.

Continue to walk faithfully, to pray without hatred, and to seek wise and godly counsel in your church for protection and guidance in these practical matters. Use this time to show the steadfast love of a covenant keeper, trusting that God sees, God judges justly, and God is able to heal and to save.
