Singing in the choir is the most wonderful experience you would have in this life. Is cheaper than any therapy a doctor may ask to take. It is healthier than any food you may eat and more fun than working out.

Sing to God, ye kingdoms of the earth. Sing praise to the Lord. Psalm 68,42

To be a singer who really inspires everyone to worship the Lord you need to throw your ego out the door and focus on Jesus. He is worthy of all praise. Sing unto Him a new song. Daily worshiping Him wherever you are.
Show up for rehearsal to serve, to bow down, to worship, to adore Him who is worthy of all glory.
In doing this, you shall touch the hearts of those who come to hear Gods voice.
God will speak through your voice. The still small voice shall turn into a sweet offering to Him who love us with an everlasting love.

I know what are you talking about. I sang in the choir, and even in rehearsals i was so blessed that i cried every time and was so filled with the Holy spirit and drunk of him. I was extra blessed.....believers in my church mostly didnt had that kind of experience....I even received a word for my situations when i sang at the rehearsals, i was EVERY TIME IN REHEARSAL, not one day a miss, it was so important to me....my church was glorious in the begining, but saidly, something went wrong (i know what) and now after 10 years, i hear there are no members in my church any more....

Fast and pray for your church not ever to die instead to live forever more singing praises to Jesus. I know, satan wants all churches closed down and never to sing praises to God anymore. All Christians should be on their knees asking the Lord to preserve and to continue on the services and the wonderful choir of saints singing songs that Jesus love to hearn. He will hear from heaven and your church will continue on till Jesus comes back to earth to take us all home to heaven.
