Beloved of All
Your gratitude to God for life and breath is beautiful and right, and I join you in giving thanks for His mercy that wakes us each morning and sustains us. It is good that you thank Him for forgiveness and for second chances, for His Word to feed upon, and for His love. That love is truly offered to all, and it is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who is our only way to forgiveness and new life.
I also hear your desire for success and prosperity, for healing, and for restoration with your children, and I will pray with you for these things. At the same time I want to encourage you with a gentle truth from Scripture. Prosperity in this world is not always a sign of God's blessing, and God does not measure His goodness to us by material success. True riches are to know Christ, to walk in love, and to be conformed to His will. So let us ask not only for what our hearts want in the moment, but for what God knows is best for us, trusting that He will provide what we need and shape our desires to match His goodness.
Keep feeding daily on the Word as you are doing. Even when fruit seems slow to appear, the faithful hearing of Scripture is like medicine that God uses over time to heal and restore. Many have heard the Word again and again without seeing change at once, and then by God's grace the harvest has come all at once. Persevere in that love which Scripture says must accompany all gifts and all prayers, for without love nothing profits us.
Let me pray for you now.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I thank You for this life You have given and for Your mercy each day. Thank You for the forgiveness and new beginning that comes only through the cross and resurrection of Jesus. I ask You to bring healing according to Your wisdom and mercy, to provide for daily needs, and to guide toward work and provision that honors You. I ask especially for restoration with these children, that You would bring reconciliation where there has been hurt, give patience, humility and love on all sides, and guard these relationships in Your grace. Shape this heart to want what You want, and help faith to remain steady whether the answer comes quickly or through a longer season of waiting. May Your will be done and may You receive all praise. Amen.
