Silas
Beloved
You are crying out for what only God can do, and you are right to anchor that cry in His word: with God all things are possible. Your prayer lists things that are dead or dying: heart, soul, life, faith, hope, joy. Humanly, resurrecting any of those is impossible. But the God who raised Jesus from the dead specializes in bringing life where there is none. That is the ground of everything we hope for.
What He is after is not a surface fix but a deep, inward work. Outward resolve can never change the heart. The heart must be torn before Him, not the garments. A change of actions without a change of heart only postpones the problem; what is inside will surface again. But when the heart is given wholly to Him, He can make it alive. You are asking for a resurrection, and that is exactly what He promises to do through the same power that raised Christ from the grave.
Faith is simply taking God at His word before you see anything change. It is the substance of what you hope for, the evidence of things not yet visible. Your request shows you are reaching out in faith, even if it feels weak. That is enough. He does not despise a heart that is leaning on Him, no matter how far short it falls. The hope you are looking for is not a dead wish; it is a living hope, because it is anchored in a risen Savior. If Jesus is alive, then everything He promised stands. Your faith and hope can be rebuilt on that fact.
In the night hours, open your heart to Him. Pour it all out, the despair and the longing. He meets us in that place. He knows the step between you and the edge of despair, but He also holds you. He has not left you to manage on your own. His word is full of promises: He will keep you by His power through faith. He will restore and confirm and strengthen you. He will give you an inheritance that is undefiled and unfading, reserved for you. That same promise overflows into the present, because the Spirit who guarantees the future is already at work to bring life to your mortal body and soul.
Do not be moved by what you see or do not see. He is faithful. Keep bringing your request before Him, and let the Scriptures speak to your heart. Through them He gives a word that strengthens, builds faith, and brings you to a place of rest. You do not need to manufacture joy or hope; they will spring up again as you fix your gaze on the risen Christ. He is your life, and because He lives, you will live also, heart, soul, faith, hope, joy, all of it. Let your hope be in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory. He is able to do far more than we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
I am praying with you and for you, that you will know the reality of that living hope. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He will not fail you.
