with en family med The Lord

The answer to the question beneath your words is yes: forgiveness belongs to God, and it is found fully in Jesus Christ. Through his blood we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. But this is not a family possession passed down automatically, and it is not secured by public honor or by placing anyone beside Jesus. It is received by faith. Those who have believed enter the rest of God. Those who try to enter by their own efforts, by family heritage, or by assigning spiritual places to others remain in the wilderness.

Aaron's blessing is real. It places God's name on his people. But no blessing can replace faith in Jesus. The promise given to Abraham was not for those who merely sat in the right family line; it was for those who follow him in faith. Esau wanted the blessing with tears and could not have it, because he found no place for repentance. We do not win rest for our relatives by remembering them, and we do not secure their place by putting them next to Jesus in our hearts. We bring them to Jesus, and we trust him with them.

If your question is whether those you remember rest with God, the answer rests on Christ. Those who turned to him in life are with him now. Where you are unsure, you entrust them to the Judge who is both just and merciful. What you can do is enter that rest yourself by faith. Stop trying to rest in what you can see, in your own understanding, or in the hope that family memory will count for them. The only place you will ever rest is in faith that Jesus did it all.

There remains a rest for the people of God. Let that rest be yours today. Keep your eyes on eternal things, because the eternal weight of glory far outweighs the hidden questions that trouble you now. In Jesus Christ you have hope of eternal life. That hope is not built on a family chain or on public place. It is built on his finished work on the cross. Rest there.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer for your family—both in your private life and in the public sphere—seeking the Lord’s presence, truth, and glory to rest upon you all. It has been our privilege to stand with you in agreement, lifting up your plea for God’s absolute truth, forgiveness, and restoration within your family circle and among your friends. We have prayed earnestly for the blessing of Aaron—the Lord’s favor and holiness—to cover you, both in what is seen and unseen, through Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit, along with the ministering angels who serve in your midst.

If the Lord has moved in response to your prayer, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the answer has not yet come or feels unclear, we encourage you to post your request again and allow us to continue interceding on your behalf. We remain steadfast in prayer, trusting that God hears and holds your family in His care.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him with all your heart. We pray this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
