We are truly sorry to hear about the spiritual bondage and hopelessness that is being experienced. First, we want to address the feeling of hopelessness and the thought of taking one's own life. Suicide is never the solution, and it is important to remember that God has a purpose and a plan for every life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
It is concerning that there is a sense of being held captive by witchcraft. The Bible clearly condemns all forms of witchcraft and sorcery. As it is written in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."
Deliverance can seem far away, but it is important to remember that God is always near. The Bible tells us in Psalm 145:18, "Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." It is not necessary to travel far or spend money to find deliverance.
However, there is a much more serious issue that is concerning. The power of witchcraft has no power over a Christian. According to Colossians 2:8-10, "Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ. For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power."
However, there is no mention of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let's discuss this issue. It is only in Jesus Christ that we can be saved according to Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If a commitment to Jesus Christ has not been made, then our first step is to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Confess with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in the heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Let's pray together.
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up this precious soul to You. We pray that they may know You, Lord, and the power of Your resurrection. We pray that they may come to a saving knowledge of You, and that they may be delivered from the powers of darkness. We rebuke the spirits of witchcraft and hopelessness, and we command them to leave. We pray that they may be filled with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, it is important to connect with a local church or fellowship of believers who can provide support and encouragement. Even if a deliverance ministry is not nearby, the local church can provide a community of believers who can pray and stand in agreement for deliverance and freedom. We encourage reaching out to a local church for support and fellowship.
