Witches and stalkers

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Have you ever known someone so pathetic that their only sense of self worth came from harassing you? I am dealing with many people like this. Witches. Abusers. Stalkers. Obsessed with me. Won’t leave me alone. Practicing witchcraft over me. Vindictive because I don’t like them. Please pray for God to drown them in the Red Sea and deliver me from them in Jesus’ name.

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, protection, and deliverance. The torment you describe, harassment, witchcraft, obsession, and vindictiveness, is not only emotionally exhausting but spiritually dangerous. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and those who operate in darkness often target the children of light. But we serve a God who is greater than all the powers of hell (1 John 4:4), and He will not abandon you in this battle.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. Witchcraft is a real and serious sin, an attempt to manipulate or curse God’s people through demonic influence. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). Those who engage in such practices are not only in rebellion against God but are also opening themselves to demonic oppression. We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus has already defeated every curse, spell, and demonic plot (Colossians 2:15). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn.

However, we must also examine your heart in this. While your request for deliverance is justified, we notice the tone of your words, anger, bitterness, and even a desire for harm upon these individuals. Scripture warns us, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21 WEB). Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and while we pray for justice, we must also guard our hearts against hatred. Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This does not mean we tolerate their behavior or fail to set boundaries, but it does mean we release them to God’s judgment rather than harboring resentment. Bitterness can take root and defile many (Hebrews 12:15 WEB), so we encourage you to surrender your pain to the Lord and ask Him to soften your heart toward these individuals, even as you seek deliverance from their harassment.

We also want to address the spiritual protection you need. The enemy thrives when God’s people are unaware or unprepared. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB) so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. This includes:
- The belt of truth (knowing and standing on God’s Word)
- The breastplate of righteousness (living a life that honors God)
- The shoes of the gospel of peace (being rooted in Christ)
- The shield of faith (trusting God to protect you)
- The helmet of salvation (renewing your mind in Christ)
- The sword of the Spirit (speaking God’s Word over your life)
- Prayer in the Spirit (communing with God continually)

We also encourage you to surround yourself with godly community, believers who can pray with you, stand with you, and hold you accountable. Isolation is one of the enemy’s greatest tools. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up our sister/brother who is under attack by those who operate in darkness. We declare that You are her/his refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We break every curse, hex, spell, and demonic assignment sent against her/him in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood of Jesus over her/his life, home, mind, and spirit. Let no weapon formed against her/him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her/him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Father, we ask You to expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy. Reveal the identities of those who are harassing her/him, and bring their deeds into the light. Let them be caught in the snares they have set (Psalm 9:15-16 WEB). We pray for justice, Lord, but we also pray for their souls. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and draw them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we ask that You remove them from her/his life, whether by Your divine intervention, legal consequences, or a change of heart.

Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard her/his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Replace fear with faith, anxiety with trust, and bitterness with forgiveness. Help her/him to cast all cares upon You, knowing that You care for her/him (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Strengthen her/him with Your might in the inner person (Ephesians 3:16 WEB), and fill her/him with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9 WEB).

We declare that she/he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her/him (Romans 8:37 WEB). No weapon formed against her/him shall prosper, and every assignment of the enemy is rendered null and void by the power of the cross. We thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance, Your protection, and Your unfailing love. May she/he walk in victory, knowing that You are with her/him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Continue to seek Him, saturate your mind with His Word, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. If these individuals are breaking the law (e.g., stalking, harassment, threats), do not hesitate to involve the authorities. God can use even earthly systems to bring about His justice.

Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to examine your relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in walking in victory over the enemy. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). If you have already done this, we praise God for your salvation and encourage you to continue growing in your faith.

You are not alone in this fight. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts stands with you. Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB).

We hear how heavy and exhausting this has been for you, feeling harassed and watched and unable to get space to breathe. It makes sense you are longing for real deliverance and for God to step in and bring justice.

We want you to know we are praying for your safety, your peace, and for God to be your shelter in this season. When fear and anger build up from ongoing harassment, it can help to have steady, trusted people beside you who know what is happening day to day.

One step that often brings some relief is to let a trusted pastor or counselor in your area know what you are experiencing, and to make a simple safety plan with them. If you ever feel threatened or stalked, please reach out right away to local authorities or a safe person near you, keep a brief record of what has happened, and try not to face it alone.

We also pray God will quiet the turmoil and help you rest in His care, even while you wait for His help to unfold.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your protection over them. Cover them with Your peace, guard their home and their heart, give them wisdom for each next step and bring trustworthy help around them. Lead them in Your way and show them Your nearness and strength. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry under this sore harassment has been heard, and we join you in seeking the Lord for deliverance. To be beset by those who watch and vex and pursue is a heavy affliction, and to feel that malice and even witchcraft is directed against you makes the burden heavier still. Yet we may take comfort that no affliction springs up from the dust without the Lord's knowledge, for He sits as a Refiner by the furnace, and even that which comes distinctly from the malice of men may be overruled by His special love to try and to purify His people.

For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes. Our first resort is not to man but to God Himself, for deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. When the soul feels as if going down to the Pit, chastened with pain and beset by enemies round about like dogs that bay all night, there is one sure refuge, to say with David, My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him.

Hear the gracious word which the Lord has given for such a case, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has not only invented the way, He has found the ransom in the precious blood of His own Son. The King's own Son has borne the penalty, and therefore God has given commandment to save you, and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, saved from evil company. He keeps back his soul from the Pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

So we do not look to any fascination or fear of witchcraft, for He has delivered us from the power of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His dear Son. The power that seemed to hold you is broken by a greater power, and what was meant to work you down to the dust, God can overrule to enrich you spiritually and to make you disgusted with Egypt and to fly more closely to your Ark, which is Christ. If you are in Christ, you are screened from the plague of sin and from every archers noise that would destroy you, for the Lord will perfect that which concerneth you.

We will pray for you to this end.

O Lord our God, who art gracious and hast found a ransom, look upon this afflicted one who is pursued and harassed and wearied by the malice of others. Deliver him from going down to the Pit, and keep back his soul from perishing. Deliver him from the power of darkness, from the fear of man and from every evil work and device. As Thou didst make a way for Israel through the sea and bring them forth with deliverance, so make a way of escape and peace for Thy servant now. Put a hedge about him, give wisdom to those who can lawfully protect him, and let him find succor and solace only in Thee. Turn the hearts of those who do him wrong, and if it be Thy will, bring them to repentance through the same blood which alone can cleanse, for there is no other salvation but through Jesus Christ our Lord. Teach Thy servant to wait only upon Thee, to live and to declare the works of the Lord, giving thanks that though Thou hast chastened sorely, Thou hast not given him over unto death. Perfect that which concerneth him, and let him know the peace that comes from being delivered by Free Grace alone. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Ransom and Deliverer, Amen.

If this stalking and harassment continues in a way that threatens your safety, we urge you to seek help from trusted pastors and, where needed, from lawful authorities whom God has ordained for protection, while you continue to cast your whole care upon Him who cares for you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we are bringing you before the Lord with care and compassion. To feel surrounded, harassed, stalked, and targeted by those who wish you harm is a heavy and wearying burden, and it is right to seek God's protection and deliverance.

Scripture teaches us not to repay evil for evil and not to let hatred take root in our own hearts, because we punish ourselves by hating others and we benefit ourselves by loving them. When we bear the spiteful acts of enemies with meekness, God uses that endurance to work in us deliverance from sin, fortitude, patience, mildness, and freedom from the anger and despondency that would otherwise consume our lives. Patience is not shown in two or three days, but over much time, especially when we live among those who continually try to injure us. God in His providence sometimes permits such trials, not because He has abandoned us, but to make us stronger, to teach us to despise evil and to set our hope more firmly on Christ, who has perfected forever those who are sanctified by His one offering.

The desire for vindication is understandable, but vengeance belongs to the Lord. Scripture says that Christ sat down at the right hand of God, expecting till His enemies be put under His feet. It is He who will bring all enemies, including spiritual forces of evil, under His feet in His own time and in His own way, for the sake of His people. Witchcraft and curses have no ultimate power over those who belong to Jesus Christ, for God alone is the cause and ruler of all things, and no harm can finally prevail against those who are in Him. Our calling is not to ask God to destroy people, but to ask Him to restrain evil, to protect the innocent, to bring justice through rightful means, and to bring even our enemies to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

We are praying for you in this way:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to cover this dear one with Your protection and peace. Guard them from all harm and from every practice of evil, and make clear that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Grant them fortitude and patient endurance, deliver them from anger and fear, and fill their heart with mildness and benevolence even toward those who grieve them. Restrain those who harass and stalk, bring their actions to light, and use lawful authorities and the support of Your people to provide safety and deliverance. We do not ask for their destruction, but we ask that You would put all evil under the feet of Christ, that You would bring conviction and repentance where there is sin, and that You would save those who do not yet know You. Grant to the one who suffers Your comfort, wisdom for every practical step for safety, and the deep assurance that You are near and that You will not forsake them. Amen.

If you are in danger from stalking or harassment, please also seek help from trusted pastors and from the proper authorities for your protection, and remain in fellowship where others can walk with you and pray with you continually.

The heaviness and fear in what you have shared is clear, and God sees the harassment and oppression you are describing. It is right to bring this to Him and to ask for His deliverance and protection.

Scripture shows that those who practice sorcery and witchcraft are walking in serious sin. The prophet Nahum describes Nineveh as a city given to whoredoms and witchcraft, selling nations and families through its sorceries, and God declared His judgment against it. Witchcraft is not empty or harmless. It is an occult practice that God condemns, and it is right to ask Him to break its power over your life and to shield you from it.

Scripture also shows that God is our refuge when we are targeted. He is described as a fortress, a place of strength and protection, and as the One who covers His people as a bird covers its young under its wings. To dwell in the secret place of the Most High is to live in fellowship with Him, trusting not in your own strength but in Him alone. He promises to deliver from the snare of the one who lays traps, to be truth as a shield and buckler against the attacks of the enemy. Jesus Himself used the truth of God's Word as a shield when He was assaulted by Satan. You can do the same, holding fast to what God has said, praying His Word, and resting under His covering. He has promised to be with His people in trouble, to answer prayer, to deliver and honor, and to show His salvation.

You asked God to drown those who harass you as He drowned Pharaoh's army in the Red Sea. Remember what that deliverance meant. God delivered Israel out of Egypt through the blood of the lamb placed on the doorposts, a memorial of His power to free His people from bitter slavery. That ancient deliverance now points to a greater one, deliverance from the power of sin through the shed blood of the Lamb of God who was slain for the world. God is a righteous judge, and He will judge all who do evil. The believers in Thessalonica suffered heavy persecution, and Paul wrote to them that their suffering was not forgotten, that God in His righteousness would repay those who troubled them when He comes to judge. Yet the call for those who suffer is not to take vengeance into their own hands, but to entrust judgment to God.

Persecution arose very early against the church in Jerusalem, and many believers were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Peter wrote to those scattered believers who knew double persecution, and he taught that when suffering comes though you have done no wrong, you are to bear it patiently, following the example of Christ who also suffered for us and did not threaten in return. History shows that persecution never destroys the true church. It separates what is real from what is false, it causes faith to grow exceedingly and love to abound, it binds believers together, and God even uses it to spread His gospel. Your suffering is not unseen, and God can use even this painful season to deepen your faith and draw you closer to Himself.

So pray not for personal vengeance, but for God's righteous protection and deliverance. Ask Him to be your fortress, to guard your mind and body and home, to break every work of witchcraft, to bring conviction and repentance to those who harass you if they will turn, and to stop their harm if they will not. Leave their judgment in His hands, for He will do what is right.

A prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus I ask that You cover this dear one who is feeling stalked and oppressed. Be a fortress and shield. Deliver from every snare and every evil work. Let Your truth guard heart and mind. Break the power of witchcraft and sorcery, and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Bring peace where there is fear, wisdom for every practical step of safety, and deliverance in Your way and time. Judge righteously, have mercy where there is repentance, and keep this heart from bitterness, trusting You as the righteous Judge and faithful Deliverer. Amen.
